This has been my local corner store for the past 9 years of my life, I play the lottery here almost every day (powerball or mega millions). I am unhappy that this gas station has not sold me the winning ticket yet. Other than that, I like the fountain drinks and the points I can accumulate which have sometimes landed me free food items :p

Be careful while shopping at this store. I purchased two bottles of water big sign clearly said, on the row 2 for $4 at the register I was charged $4.98The clerk without even looking at the shelf talker, told me I was wrong. I went back and showed him clearly he was wrong. Had I not noticed I would have gotten ripped off.

When my son came out of the store with two small sandwiches and a coffee for $17.00, I almost choked. I will not make that mistake again. Wow.

This has been my favorite K&G since I moved to Ames 4 years ago, since then its seen some improvements which are great. However recently it has been very dirty the pumps are nasty and greasy which in turn gets my steering wheel and shifter nasty and greasy, the bathroom is in total disarray, there was actually feces ON the only roll of toilet paper in the bathroom (btw they cant be botheted to put the roll of paper into the dispenser it just sits around.) This place has gone WAY downhill since I moved here. I will be taking my business to the Hyvee gas down the street.

The one thing that's good about this place is the entire staff. Everyone here is hardworking with a great attitude. However, the new way to order is stupid. I used to eat breakfast here nearly every day I work, but with the new ordering system you cut out the sandwiches I would buy. Not cool.
