It's one of the better Hyvee's I have been, too. The lady at customer service, I believe her name was Jennifer, she was so incredibly nice and helpful.

We shop here several times a week. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They've got deals everyday. We're feeding the homeless and we're doing it with the help of Hy-Vee in West Ames!

Bought watermelons for almost 9$ and they were really bad! on top of the very low quality of fruits like berries and grapes…questioning why people still shop here, prices are expensive compared to competitors.

This review is mostly for the dine in experience. Today I had just gotten waffles, sunny side eggs and bacon and they did not clean the crusty waffle maker and served me the waffle that you're supposed to throw away from cleaning them. My waffle was filled with rock hard burnt old waffle pieces that would legitimately hurt biting into when i wasn't expecting something that hard in a waffle. I had to pick out all of the chunks from the waffle to even just eat it. And then the sunny side eggs, those are a little harder for some people to do, but I did pay full price so i will be honest because paying for this at all feels regretful now, but about half the egg whites were just completely uncooked as well. The people are nice but the dine in food does not justify the price. And EVEN WORSE the waffle specifically only looked bad on one side so whoever made this KNEW it wasn't good and still specifically made sure the nice side was up and tried to hide all of the actual garbage they cooked into my waffle on the bottom and whatever burnt chunk parts you could see was covered in whipped cream. And here when i was served it i was wandering why the whipped cream was on the sides of the waffle instead of ontop. And now i know it was to specifically hide those parts. I didn't realize all of this cuz it was the last thing i expected, i thought it was just seed or stems from the fruit or something. So the chunks in the picture aren't even all of them
