Put a decent dent in the fender of my auto trailer, one of the tires was rubbing against metal. My trailer is my livelihood so I went to Howes Welding. I believe the guys name is Jim, the owner. He took a look at the trailer, got an idea of what needed to happen. His schedule was pretty full but he also understood I needed to work. He had my trailer fixed and ready for service 2 days later for a good price. Thanks Jim! I had 3 cars to haul as soon as it was fixed.

They do great work. Box was very true and clean. They cut and broke everything and tacked it together and I finished it out. Fair on price.

I knew that Howe's could repair the break on my cast iron bench leg, but they did it so well that no one could see that it had ever been broken. I loved it. Thanks.

The quality of work these guys do is excellent. I needed some welding done on some rather thin aluminum. They did some of the best welding we have seen on aluminum. They are great to work with. The turnaround time was excellent too. We will would definitely recommend this place. They set the standard for what a great welding shop should be.

i worked for jim howe for a few years and he tought me not just about metal fab but about life and work ethic.He mentored me when alot of people probably wouldn’t of had time. and he really didn’t have time. he’s an incredible and interesting man. and its not the perfect place and things get crazy because he takes on alot. but he always means well even though he can be difficult to deal with his heart is truly gold.he is truly a pillar of ames and a good samaritan of the community.he would give the shirt off his back for anyone.so out of a couple bad reviews on here i see...im sure jim didn’t mean for a bad experience. He trys hard to make everyone happy at once and im sure sometimes things get mixed up. but he will always take care of you in the end. he’s an honest man.
