I hired Hemmen Moving this past August 1st for moving my 3 bedroom large home into a 4 bedroom slightly smaller home. It was a long move (6 hours) just due to the amount of stuff we had to move. Hemmen movers remained pleasant and hardworking through the entire move, despite the heat. I would recommend them to a friend, and I'll be using their moving services again in the future.

Hemmen Moving was the best decision I could have made for my move across. The whole experience was great. The movers went above and beyond to ensure everything was moved with care. From working with Lindsey to set everything up, to working with the moving crew the day of, everything was fantastic. I would highly recommend Hemmen Moving for any moving job!

We had a great experience with Hemmen Moving Services for our move from Des Moines to Ames. We called around for the best option locally to help and we are happy with our decision! Hemmen Moving was the best decision I could have made for my move. The movers went above and beyond with their services and didn't even complain once about all the stairs they had to take every load up. I had a huge amount of stuff to move 50 miles to my new home, and Hemmen Moving INC was recommended by my realtor. I really appreciated how hard we all worked that day. They really were efficient, polite, and respectful of me and my property. I even had a second smaller move and called them again and same experience. I would highly recommend them.

We recently used Hemmen Moving when we moved from Ames, IA to the Kansas City, Mo area. Our house in Ames sold before we could get into our KC home and we stored all our furnishing in the moving trailer until the move could be finalized. The guys were great about moving things out of our Ames house and into our new home. The price and process was all fully explained before we signed anything and everything went great. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

Moving can be a very stressful time, but Hemmen Movers put our minds at ease! They were professional, efficient, friendly and helpful in our recent move from central Iowa to eastern Iowa. They communicated their strategy and we were able to ensure that they could get to the rooms and the furniture items quickly. We appreciated their attention to detail. Delicate and expensive furniture arrived without marks or scratches. Our truck load of our household furniture, etc. was safely stored for two nights to coincide with the possession date of our new home. We highly recommend Hemmen moving!

Hemmen moved us quickly and efficiently - I was nervous when the loading crew showed up 1 member short, and with a 1st day on the job crew member. They worked in the heat faster than I would have ever expected, and when we arrived at the other end they were beyond careful moving us into a brand new home. Would recommend to anyone that asks.

We recently moved from Iowa to Minnesota and used Hemmen Moving. Their movers were quick and efficient in both loading up and unloading the truck. We had no issues whatsoever with any damage of items, and their prices were far better than other moving companies we contacted. Very professional and efficient.
