Love this place! The lady that owns it is the sweetest. She always has great products and fair prices. Several of the business owners in downtown Ames seem to suffer from superiority complex and snotty attitudes but she is always so down to Earth and helpful. Go here for any precious metals purchases.

Prices are above average but occasionally you’ll find a deal. Not terribly knowledgeable so rare or unique coins this probably isn’t the place to sell. I want to like this place more but have just found it worth it to go to one of the Des Moines shops. Ok for smaller transactions or kids coin collections.
