I have never ever been to such a bad place. The people there will never stop looking at you like, just because you are different. It is really sad. Anyways, not to generalize, but some people on the counter need to touch the grass. Disgusting attitude.
Yes, I have been to other Casey's. But this one is near a university! Where you have international students! PhD students! This is just sad.

We ordered a pizza over 2 HOURS ago. Went to pick it up at the promised time (which was 90 min after order time) and found one guy in kitchen CLEARLY overwhelmed, and four customers standing in line waiting for their orders; at least one of them had ordered the same time as us. There were no pizzas ready for pick up, and none in process. What was the holdup?! Person at register on his phone, and two girls chatting in office. This experience is in addition to what many others have said...no items stocked in morning, and horrible customer service. I once had the displeasure of listening to a cashier's child support woes for 5 minutes when the man in front of me innocently asked her, "how's it going?"This is not the Casey's experience I grew up knowing. I have had better experiences at other locations in Ames so I don't want to leave a blanket bad review, but the Stange location is absolutely terrible. The DM needs to spend some extended time there training, over several different shift times to get this up to par. Terrible.

You will not find a more disorganized gas station in your life. Nobody working there has any idea what they are doing. You’re lucky to get gas. To top it off, the staff is unbelievably rude.

About an hour ago I ordered a pizza and breadsticks through the app & I don’t think I will be able to ever order again. The sauce that I received had mold growing on it. I am very grossed out. I tried to call but no one picked up the phone. The premade sauces you guys have out probably need to be checked. ?

The cashier was wondering and very nice but the kitchen staff was not great. There was one employee specifically who seemed to be yelling at another employee for being late and didn’t seem to care about the customers in the store. She was very unprofessional storming in and out of the store and it made me uncomfortable to be there for even a few minutes. I would absolutely hate to work there if I got treated like that. I don’t usually write reviews like this but the way she was acting was not right.

What a wonderful way to finish my work day. Friendly and enthusiastic voice answering the phone and taking my pizza order, and the same enthusiasm greeting me when I was handed my pizza. And… the last perfect touch - Joe holding the door for me as I left with my pizza.A huge smile on my face after a 13 hour day!

I watched the kitchen employee open food packages with her teeth, while making food. I made a comment about it and she started screaming at me and told me I'm not allowed to come back. I asked to speak to the manager about it, and she told me there was nothing she could do about it. Clearly health and safety standards are not in place in their kitchen. Buy your staff a pair of scissors, and teach them about health and safety practices

Had to come back to the store 3 times before my pizza was done because it took 40 minutes longer than my promised pickup time. Normally I would give the benefit of the doubt, but the second time I came back I found the lady who was working the kitchen chit-chatting with the lady working the cash register. When they saw me the lady working the kitchen commented that she needed to finish making a pizza and hurried back to the kitchen. I went to the register to pay and found that the pizza she had not yet completed was mine. I left again after paying and came back over 40 mins after my original pickup time to finally get my pizza. When I started going to this location 5 years ago the staff was fantastic, and I would have genuinely put them up against anyone in the country. In the last three years the employees have gone steadily down hill. Most of the interactions I have with the staff are extremely unprofessional, and today was no different. This will likely be the last time I use this Casey's location. The competition has gotten better as their quality has declined. In my opinion most of the staff should be fired and replaced with people who can manage at least mediocre professionalism while at the workplace.

This is the worst Casey's i've gone to, which is already an incredible statement based on the performance of every other Casey's I've been to in the last couple years.Lets start with the food. Their 'famous' pizza is the worst ive had from a Casey's. The crust is ultra thin, so picking it up is almost enough for it to fall apart. Its grease is off the charts even for Casey's and the toppings are dry by the time its in the warmer. Their breakfast, which i often rely on after Kum and Go switched to their new model, is horrible. The bread for everything is so dry and while the sausage and egg is cooked, they throw cheese directly from the fridge on the sandwhich so you have a back and forth experience of hot and cold that the warmers cant fix because the warmer is set to roughly the heat of the inside of my pants.Then comes the store itself. This place is never stocked. The last several days ive gone here, there have been several rows in the drink section unstocked, yet when i peer through the open slots i can see plenty of the drinks that should go in the empty slots. I only took one set of photos as an example, but it is farther reaching. Them men's restroom is also among the grossest ive ever been in. I once left the restroom because it smelled like pee so strongly and when i asked the lady behind the counter if there could be a restroom check to take care of it, I was given an inquisitive look as if that wasnt a thing people did here. All of this is made more infuriating by how good of a time people seem to be having with each other behind the counters while next to no work is getting down.All in all, if you can avoid this store then I would. Nothing inside is worth the time except maybe the alcohol section so you can forget that the store is such garbage.
