I have been trying for two weeks to get a loan payoff/closure letter. I have gotten nothing but the run around, not only that the people on the phone are very unfriendly.

I am so glad that BMO is in Ames!
I have banked at Bank of the West in Ames since it opened it's doors. They provide great service, timely and accurate accounting and always take time to graciously assist me with my every need. I especially like their online banking as its simple, easy and accessible.
The entire staff is wonderful at helping me in person and on the phone. I truly appreciate this!
I was also a banker at BMO with family members in Wisconsin so I was thrilled when they merged and came to Ames.
I have several accounts at now BMO and I highly recommend utilizing this great bank.

Ever since I have been with them with my Business Account they have always been shady, they claim portion of mobile deposits are available right away when they are not, it takes a day or 2. I use to transfer venmo funds on a Friday and would normally be in Saturday but that now gets pushed to Tuesday. No wonder Managment has such a high turn. SHADY BANK. wonder if that's why their changing.

After noticing five charges on my acct, $35 for each of them only stating FEE, I called the customer service line as it was after hours and my local branch, this one on main, was closed. A horrible experience as i talked to 2 supervisors and a regular employee who would not tell me what the fees were for and insisted i go into my local branch. The next day, i did. They tell me i have 5 overdraft fees even tho my end balance for the day states +35$. "Your zelle didnt post till the next day." Then why did you give me the money the day before? Your mistake? "I can remove one fee." Oh, so i only get charged $140 for your mistake? And today i receive a letter from the thieves that my account is being closed. What a bunch of nasty, deceptive, and pathetic crooks. Especially the branch manager, Chanin Maakestad. Way to exploit and steal from loyal customers. Im reporting them bc of this also. This is theft.
