I couldn’t recommend Ames Silversmithing highly enough! After my father passed, I inherited one of his staple pieces of jewelry. It was a one-of-a-kind piece that he wore for almost 30 years. Shortly after obtaining it, the piece broke in half. I was heartbroken!! I stopped into Ames Silversmithing to see if there was any hope in fixing it, and they gave me plenty of reassurance and a very reasonable quote for the repair.I’m glad to say that they knocked it out of the park (and they were FAST!) and I have a whole bracelet again!So, so grateful!

My grandmother's ring always looks spectacular after they clean it. Today, the fixed a flaw in the band where a chunk fell out. Feels right again. Love the variety of styles they sell as well.

This is the best jeweler in Ames. Period. They are very economically friendly and do an amazing job on everything. I've had the polish jewelry that they didn't make, replace watch batteries for next to no cost, as well as have an amazing selection of house made jewelry for great prices. Spend money here. You won't regret it

We came to Ames Silversmithing today to have a ring re-sized. They were responsive and professional and it helped put me at ease during a stressful week of wedding preparation. It's rare to see a business with unanimous 5 star reviews, but believe it - - if I could have given six stars, I would.

I just had my wedding ring sized here. They did a great job. They took it at a size 11, and sized it down to an 8.5. It took a little less than two weeks. It fits great now!

I live in Chicago, but my family has been using Ames Silversmithing for three generations, and the level of service has been amazing!Using my late Grandma's stone, Kyle was a great help as we put together a plan for a custom engagement ring. He was incredibly flexible and responsive through the process, and end result blew my now-fiancée away.I'm guessing that my grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be passing down Ames Silversmithing rings and coming up with new creations, just as I did!

The highest level of customer service around! This store continuously goes above and beyond for its customers! Doesn’t matter if you bought the piece of jewelry from them or not they take the time to give u what you want. They have helped me with countless items including engraving, resizing, untangling an impossible knot in a necklace, and of course beautiful timeless jewelry. I would highly recommend to any and everyone.
