Owned by a very nice guy named Rod. He will work with you as long as you communicate with him. He even plowed where my trailer was stored when IA got hit with like 7" of snow. I recommend this storage area for everyone needing space for something!

Fantastic experience. Owners were quick to respond, professional, and very friendly (one even helped me load some furniture as he was passing by to do something else). Inside was extremely clean, cool, not humid, and zero bugs to be found. Can not recommend enough.

This is perhaps the best company I've ever dealt with. The manager and her husband are absolutely wonderful. They are number one reason I never move. If your looking for storage then this is the place to be.

5 stars does not do this place justice! I won’t even bore you with the details of how this facility is super clean, well lit, uber secure, and temperature controlled at an ACTUAL comfortable temperature. Instead let me tell you about the owners Kathy and Rod. If nothing else, the fact that ANYTIME we see one of them in the facility they take time to stop ask us however thing is going and if there is anything we need is enough. However that is simply the tip of the iceberg.We moved into this unit in the August Iowa heat. Rod took time to go get cold water for us and all the crew that was helping us. Another time Rod noticed we were moving yet another load in, (we moved from a large home and are awaiting our new home to close). He jokingly asked if we could make it all fit and when we said we were shuffling things around to make it fit and figuring out what to get rid of he asked if we needed a third unit. He immediately stopped what he was doing and found us the closest unit to our other 2 and even gave us a discount for having so many units. Long story short, everyone hates putting there stuff in storage, but Ames Central Storage makes you hate it much less, with an amazing facility and some of the best owners I have ever experienced. I can’t recommend Ames Central Storage enough!!

The manager Kathy was absolutely fantastic to work with.We are impressed with the new facility and building security access system and camerasAll the units are within 75 feet of an entrance door making it quick and easy to get to our unit

I have nothing but good things to say. Manager was extremely friendly and helpful. Obtaining a unit was quick and painless. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. It all felt very secure and well run. This had exactly what I needed for my storage needs. I highly recommend!
