“Hy-Vee can have some great deals but if you're just popping in for items as needed it can be way more expensive than Walmart. I will say Hy-Vee does offer a more personal touch and there are more employees who WANT to help you.”
“They are cheaper. They have special things in there, and an isle of things like shoes and household items and special cookies and candy. It's a great place to shop. Bur bring your own bags. They sell bags also, cheap. I recommend checking it out.”

“Aldis is always clean and inviting, vendors have not claimed mid isles as real-estate for their product. So the walk ways are not cluttered or partially blocked. I hope they never change that. In today's economy I can buy food stuffs here at reasonable pricing.”

I get that there are few name brands and there are less choices than other grocers but prices are reasonable, people are friendly and it's not the size of a football field. “Finally a place I can afford groceries. This store is generally clean. Wednesdays is the best day to go for fully stocked shelves. We've found lots of brands that we like and some we'd pass on next time, but overall the quality and price of products is where it's at with this economy.”
