I love this store! Caring Hands’ Secondhand Treasures has tons of great finds, and the folks who run it are super sweet. If you need housewares, kitchen items, or even furniture, check here before buying new! Most, if not all items are in significantly better condition than you’d find at any other thrift store in the metro, and most of their prices are reasonable. They have great sales from time to time, and similar to other thrifts, they have a rotating sale where certain tags are marked down based on the color of the tag. The only critiques I have are that some of their items are mislabeled as vintage when they’re not actually vintage or are marked as an authentic collectible when they’re actually a reproduction. Prices on some items are disproportionately high, but it isn’t consistent. The oddly high pricing makes me wonder if they have multiple people pricing their items and some are going a good bit higher than they ought to while the others are more on point with actual values of the items.Bottom line: If you’re in Altoona, stop by and pay these folks a visit! You never know what you’ll find, AND any money you spend goes directly back to providing the community with resources like their onsite food pantry and clothing closet!

I bring my toddler here quite often, they're always so nice to us and we love to go see what new goodies they have!! It is my favorite place to shop and I have a great time and baby has somewhere to find a new toy and it's so nice to have in Altoona when we can't go outside we can go explore at the thrift store!! So much fun!! Prices are great too. Thanks for supporting our community in more ways than one!!

The staff is awesome but the pricing is awful. I understand that the sales go towards what they do for the community....but I found plenty of items over priced for being donations and not that great in shape.Presonally i find that Goodwill has much better thrift store pricing.

A lot of things on sale. It's a hidden gem. They will need to organize their products. They would probably get more sales if they start organizing everything in the store.
