We bought one of their cat towers. They are built way more sturdy than all the others you see at the name brand pet stores. Our cats had worn out their previous one which had become extremely wobbly. Knowing this one will last a lot longer made it worth the price.

I needed a new dog food brand and figured i would support local instead of the typical corporate stores. i was greeted with a very polite and helpful girl. she asked me what i was looking for and also helped me pick out the best kind of dog food!! she set me up on a different rewards program without me even asking! I will definitely keep shopping here! i recommend it for its items but also the care the employees have. they actually care about you and your pets!! 10/10! Thank you!!

Family owned business! Great customer service! Has helped me out a lot with my furr babies! Even gives my kiddos snacks when they come in with me! Great place to get litter for cats since you can reuse containers to pay less and have less waste!

Took our dog Doc to Petsakes. We were worried, didn't know how he would act because he'd never been to a groomer and he can act like a spoiled kid, but he did great! Kara was our groomer and she did a fabulous job!!! I'm so proud of our baby and thankful to petsakes! We will definitely be going back. Doc looks gorgeous ❤ thank you Kara!

Tried to call and make an appointment to get my dog groomed and they were really rude on the phone. sighing the whole time and before they hung up I heard them say something that was just very unprofessional. I don't think I will take my dog there to ever get groomed.

If you are looking for a place that cares for your pets as much as you do, this is the place to go! Every employee is outstanding and remember us when we walk in! They ask about our pets and make sure that we have exactly what we need! My kids have recently gotten puppies of their own and enjoy petsakes just as much as I do!

My wife found this gem not long ago looking for some dog toys. Once you visit a place like this, you'll stop going instantly to Pet Stupid and the other big box stores. We use the Altoona location.The staff here is highly knowledgeable, professional, and caring. They don't recommend things to sell. Instead, they recommend things that truly benefit your pet or companion. They carry quality brands, are well equipped, and behave in the best interests of the customer.Lots of stores "care" and "love" animals. But few actually know a thing or two beyond that. Pet Sakes has consistently proven to offer really healthy options for our guard dogs/family companions, and not only do I trust them, but I prefer to spend my money with people that I like personally.Buy with confidence.
