Getting to this location and it’s closed. No sign on the door, nothing online listing it being closed. How frustrating. Then after reading the previous reviews, I guess I was in luck. Definitely won’t be coming back.

My little brother got a hat from there and on the hat the price said it was 24 dollars well they charged him for 28. My little brother is eight. They wouldn’t give him his three dollars back which they should. The lady was very rude to my family and did not care. We are not coming back and I was very disappointed. They need to fix the price for how much the hats really are or not overcharge a little kid!!!!! ?

The lady who they have working here is completely unprofessional and unqualified to be working in customer service. She was rude from the moment my boyfriend & I walked in. She did not want to assist us nor answer any questions. As we walked in the first thing I noticed was the lollipop she had in her mouth which she was more focused on. Overall experience, DISGUSTING.

Lady is so slow watched 5 people walk out cause shes so slow. Everytime i come here i wait an hour to check out for a hat. Ridiculous

Mario is a horrible employee. And so is the slow girl he works with. My friend and I went into the store to get a hat pin, we waited to be acknowledged. It was us two, a customer at the stand, another customer and his child and the two employees. We asked the girl if we could be rang up and she said “not yet”. She was standing around while Mario was talking to the customer at the stand about ordering a hat. We got that he was being helped but when there are TWO employees and they both need to help ONE customer, that’s when you should get you have issues with employee choice. We waited, then Mario finally acknowledged us (he was on FT w some woman talking about orders he got for people). He then finally told the girl to “turn on the other device” and she took FOREVER. As if she couldn’t listen to a conversation and turn on a hand held machine. She finally got it up and rang up my friend then asked her to enter her email which my friend did. She put the device down for the girl to pick up and she kept focusing on the conversation. We stood a moment longer then my friend said “that’s okay” and put the pin down and we started walking out. Mario said “sorry you didn’t wanna wait for us to change devices” I said not when you have sh**ty customer service. He then called me a sh**ty customer. I repeated that they had terrible customer service and he called me a FAT B**CH. Lids really needs to do better about choosing quality people to work for their locations. I cannot believe a got called a FAT B**CH because TWO employees couldn’t multitask and help ring up TWO customers. It was literally one item, a pin. And we didn’t want to wait 10+ mins so WE are the shi**y ones?

Paid and waited 1 hour to get hat embroidery. Still not done after 1 hour got refund and left.

This Lids has gone downhill so much since it opened when the mall did.Their selection is not near as nice as it used to be.The staff that has been working there over the past year is not helpful at all. I've gone in asking if they were going to carry certain editions of hats (when it first opened, the Manager always ordered in each MLB special edition hat. Mother's Day, Father's Day, All Star Game, St. Patrick's Day, etc) and they look at me like I have no idea what I am talking about. I will explain to them what I am looking for, and that previous years, this location would get them in. I then am just told to go online and order it if I wanted it so badly. I told them that I would rather enjoy coming into the store to see the item in person, check the sizing (I wear mainly fitted hats), as not all fitted hats fit the same. I know my size, but depending on the material, sometimes the hat will run smaller than normal. I digress.It would be nice if this location would get back to their original ways when it first opened. I bought a hat at least once a week.Sadly, now, I have to order online on the website, wait for it to ship & hope it fits accordingly before the special release hats sell out if I need to return it.Oh. Their posted hours on the website, Google, & on their door are all different. If you wanted to go to this location, plan between 12 - 5.

I'm a die hard collector of every MLB team fitted hat. I usually order every one online, but since it was a special day, I thought I'd go with my wife and see the selection. What selection?? What hats they did have, were either not my size or snapback. Worse selection of hats!! Will continue to order online.

Every time I try going to this store in Altoona it seems closed. Was just trying to go there and people inside yet door is locked. Lady working inside let’s people out then relocks the door. Never will I spend a dime here again and I buy lots of hats. Awful experience more then once
