$320 for force regeneration, come on people.
I have never paid more than 165 and it was big truck stops.
I’d understand 20 or $30 over but making people pay for diagnostics when they don’t need it is just a scam.

Did the job in record time
Cleared all codes after replacing seventh injector

Verry slow got here 1 30 it 8 pm still not got in fix my traler I'm going bed going go down road get fix she keep saying a hour but it came 6 haf hours give a brake I see no one working in bay

This place is a day time robbery, they charged a local truck driver just to look at a drive belt to see if it needs replace .. for $150 … stay away from this Boss truck shop . I am a local driver
Truckers there are lots of semi truck mechanic shop around Altoona IA .. beware .

Rolled in here with DEF system issues, the truck wouldn't let me go over 55mph. Matt did diagnostics and said I needed a new pump. Ordered the part and got it in the next morning. Was replaced quick, the tests took the longest. But I received EXCELLENT service throughout everything! I will definitely recommend coming here and if I'm ever in the area with problems I will definitely come back.

I went into this Boss Truck Shop located at 3231 Adventureland Dr Suite C, Altoona, IA 50009 for an AC evac and recharge only to be told that the climate control module was bad a diagnosis that I hadn’t requested. They gave me a quote for repairs which they didn’t ask or bother to inform me before they went ahead to do other work I had not asked them to do on this truck. The cost of the parts as per their quotation was suspicious since it seemed high so I called the dealership which is about 1 mile from their shop and true to it the price they had given me was ridiculously over exaggerated. They had given me a quotation of $540.99 and $58.99 for AC climate controller and cabin air filter which I purchased from the dealership at $280.49 and $9.57 respectively. They said that they could not offer warranty on the service rendered since I provided the parts. After the completion of this repair the issue was not fixed so I immediately went back and was told I would have to come back the following day since the technician who was working on it had already left and there was no guarantee they would fix the issue. I later discovered there was no issue with the climate controller and the only issue I had was coming from Body control module which I believe they knew since the other technician who was there opened the hood and went straight to the BCM and then disconnected the battery. We all know that’s usually done to try and reset the BCM. My concern is the way they showed no concern on what they didn’t do right and the kind of scam they are running on prices they charge on parts. How many more drivers go through this anytime they walk into this shop? The safety of the equipments I and the rest of the drivers operate is very crucial and so is the level of attention and service given to these trucks. Judging by the complaints raised on the reviews I would say the drivers and truck owners are not getting the service they deserves from this specific shop. I as the driver feel scammed.

As most post at this sorry place (I must add) not only nonprofessionals as their work does not hold up and vary, vary over pricing with no remorse.
I am working on a class action lawsuit and it any one would like to join please contact me here. I will be watching. This place is vary unsatisfactory, rotten to its own core.
All we need is 100 petitions signed and we can start.

Very low customer service, woman with glasses acts like she working for free. They wanted to charge me 4k+ for wheel seal leak. Went to freightliner next door got everything done for 1163$

This shop will rip you off. Horrible service, they could not even jump start a truck. they told us they could not jumpstart the truck and wanted to over charge us for battery service. Other shops that we called around the area warned us about their shady services. We had another shop go to the same truck and they jump started the truck with no issues right away.

They do not give points for money spent. Only because the machine broke and they didn't want to replace it. Also they won't do a simple oil change if there is anything else wrong with the truck. Even tho they would not be held responsible
