Stayed here when visiting for class reunion. This and the motel across the highway are owned by the same owner. They are the only motels in town. I guess they put me up on south side of highway because I had a pet?Checkin was easy - desk clerk was very friendly. Motel is pet friendly. There is a pet fee. Room appeared clean, but had a strong musty smell. Bed was comfortable, Wifi was adequate. Ice machine was non-functioning, but desk clerk offered to get ice from motel across Highway. Rug could use a good cleaning. It was filthy with soiled spots. My white socks didn't stay white very long. I think that may be where the smell came from. While I was there, a workman came to seal cracks in sidewalk outside the door. The sealant didn't dry during the four days I was there. It was placed at the threshold to the door. Had to be careful not to track it in.

I have used this rv park to visit nearby relatives in our travels, usually staying a couple weeks at a time. Had a 5 start rating before now as well. I am not sure if I will ever stay there again, though. The new owner has gotten rid of most trashy people that were there and cleaned up the place, but this last time we were in site 88. Don't use this site. Behind us were 2 trashy neighbors with aggressive dogs, cats that were invested with mange and fleas that fought at night when they were let out, yes these people let nasty flea and mange afflicted cats live with them. They don't pick up their dogs messes either. Also, they drive 30 through the gravel park with their cars that have no exhaust, even though they have a little girl of maybe 8 riding her bike around there. This noise isn't all though, as they only speak in one way, yelling. These people also sleep in the hub of a cockroach infestation that warranted us to bomb our camper when we left. Already found a half dozen roaches dead at our first stop 5 hours away. With the jumbled trash and clutter around their trashy campers with improvised window ac's, drip pans, and old junk, we saw them dump gray water right on the ground.. then we knew why the Flys were so bad. These people need to be kicked out and the owner needs to keep this kind of thing out of this park.Safety: Long term and tree dump people speed through park.Walkability: Great highway restaurant across the road!Noteworthy details: Trashy long term people and bad bugs.

My kids love swimming and Indian hills inn has a great pool and hot tub, the rooms they have come in all different sizes to fit your family/ business needs. Also love that it's pet friendly. Super convenient location as there's a restaurant next door so you don't need to go far for something to eat. The rooms are always clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff is excellent always trying to make sure guests have everything they need and are super sweet. 10/10 recommend.

We stayed at the Indian Hills RV Park in Albia,Iowa for a week. The lots were generous sized, each site had a light for evening and night, the campground though small was well cared for and the people in the office were very accommodating, and it is pet friendly. We will stay here again next year when we visit family and friends in the area! Kate, Jackie and Cookie

We've stayed here several times when traveling in the area. It's definitely improved over a few years ago. Rooms are clean, bed was very comfortable. Management pays attention and offered a second room key when we got locked out of our room accidentally, then checked on us to make sure we got in ok.

There are some real issues at this place. We have stayed at this hotel the past 3 yrs. This staff was the pits. First, 2 weeks ago we stayed. We were in the building with the pool, upstairs room. Sink had scalding hot water. Shower was not even warm. Cold water. Now we stay May 28. 2022. Requested queen beet near pool. We were put in room 48, the furthest from pool. Full size bed! This room is totally 1970's! Disgusting! I slept in a dip, while my husband rolled on me all night. Dangerous outlet situation. Patio locked up for use. Not sure why. Price $109! Highway robbery . Big towns charge $100 for much nicer. The advertised restaurant has Ben closed and likely never reopening. No breakfast on site, however a nice family restaurant across highway. Not sure why we were put in dumpy cement wall room, when there were only 6 cars in parking lot. Surely not full house. This hotel is for desperate travelers in a pinch. We will never return. You have made your last $100 off us.
