Dear MANAGER Kristen,I must praise your employee, Laura who works for customer service in distribution, for her excellent service she provided my family with this last week. I had huge issues with being able to get in contact with my representative at lowes and the delivery being pushed back my family and I have been without a home for 5 months. Without Laura’s help my delivery would’ve been pushed back even longer. I’m truly going to always remember this moment of kindness laura helped us get our delivery a day later and made sure it stayed that way instead of get delayed even longer. Even though Laura had a family emergency she still took care of my family and treated us with the most respect she could, she checked in on us three different times and made sure the process of receiving our cabinets went smoothly and recording/re-ordering any that were damaged.She was available throughout the installation-process in case any unforeseen problems arose. We would welcome her-assistance in future work we have with our home cabinet needs because she is so on top of things! My family believes she deserves a raise for all her hard work. I walked in today looking at cabinets and counters for a basement project. Amanda was professional and very friendly. We setup an appointment for a quote. Although I did not interact with Chris and Jason. They both did seem fun and engaging when Amanda asked them about products lines and information. I will update after the appointment for a qoute.

I met with Jason in February to discuss a closet and cabinet design. That appointment went fine. I then scheduled a measurement appointment. I had to follow up to confirm the appointment was still on for the day. Jason told me he was quite busy that day and would send someone else at a different time. Again, not that big on an issue. Since then, I have had no response. I have emailed, called and spoke with Chris for status and no return of either. I have now wasted over a full month of my time and will need to pursue someone else that actually communicates. I am going to assume that I am not enough of a "high dollar" purchase to make it worth their time. That's sad because I do recommend those who provide stellar service. Good service and bad service both warrant word of mouth. In this case, it was not a good experience.

I went back and forth on sharing this, but it seems as though someone else had a similar experience.Terrible experience and we don’t even have cabinets yet. Jason came out in March to measure our kitchen, in the home that we were buying. Super nice guy, we really enjoyed what he said and the idea he had. We were super excited! He said “as soon as you close, you’ll need to contact me and we’ll get you all set and ready.” I already knew exactly what I wanted. April 16th was our closing date. My husband, that day tried to call Jason, text, email. Literally no response at all. We waited a few weeks thinking he’d respond, maybe he’s busy, nothing! Not even a “hey, I’m swamped or anything.” Weeks, I mean weeks of emailing, calling, texting and not a single response, nothing. Finally my husband got through and Jason said “I’m on vacation.” So, we called the office and decided to come by ourselves. We met with Chris and picked out our selections in the store to get the ball rolling and what I wanted. He was super helpful! He said you’ll have to get with Jason because he has your measurements. My husband called, texted, emailed Jason and no response, nothing! Last week we finally got a hold of Jason, and he said “I can’t find your measurements, so give me a rough measurement of your kitchen and I will get a rough quote over to you tonight.” We heard nothing. My husband called all last week, on Monday he called and texted, nothing. We tried to call the office several times today and no one answered. Finally, Jason answered his phone and said “I’ll send you over a quote by noon.” I didn’t want to hold my breath! We finally got a quote today and it looks like a generic quote and it says it’s a 4 week wait time! We’ve been trying to order cabinets for 4 weeks! I just don’t understand why you wouldn’t want someone’s business, because we have the cash to spend! Terrible customer service and I will never recommend Waukee Cabinets!-Lacy

I contacted them to get an estimate on refacing/replacing some cabinets in my kitchen. Someone came out a couple days later to take some rough measurements and discuss what were we looking to do. The guy (Jason I think) was very nice and even gave some good ideas that we hadn't thought of. He said he would work up some estimates and get back to us. A little over a week later I hadn't heard anything so I sent an email to follow up. I was told that he would be working on my proposal the next day and he was hoping to have that to me by the end of the day. That was fine as I wasn't sure what to expect on a time frame. Well it's now been another week and I still haven't heard back from them. I sent another email with no response. It's hard to do business with a company that doesn't get back to you. The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because of the guy that initially came out was very nice and gave us some good ideas.

Added new built-in shelves and cabinets in a finished basement: I give them my highest recommendation! Laura was super helpful in the design. Jason and the fabricators perfectly matched the stain color. Very high quality work in the construction! The finish is awesome. Ryan installed flawlessly with a tight fit. They look wonderful and were all great to work with!

Waukee Cabinets has done a excellent job of putting a new face to my 30 years old dated cabinets. I choose white as it coordinated with my back splash already installed. They extended the look of the front doors, removed the center wood piece which allowed a long drawer that has given me so much more storage. Laura was a very helpful designer of kitchen space. Her suggestions has enchanced the existing cabinets

If you are ever looking for a top notch custom product, this should always be your first choice. I showed Jason exactly what I wanted for a bathroom vanity/cabinet. The piece was so gorgeous I waited weeks later to paint it because I just couldn't pull the trigger on wanted to keep the piece perfect!!
