“I do a variety of workouts that primarily involve lifting. I appreciate the knowledgeable and encouraging coaches, but not in your face. I was able to safely workout out throughout pregnancy AND postpartum. Also during and after a broken wrist. They have modifications and will personally modify as needed, which is amazing!! I appreciate that this gym is welcoming to a variety of fitness goals and styles in addition to offering the classes. Great welcoming and friendly environment and peers!”

“I have been going to brownsburg fitness for about 4 years now. Let me just tell you this team is AMAZING, you’ll catch the owner here almost all hours of the day. Go ahead, ask him a question about a lift you’re doing. Matt is ALWAYS happy to help if he’s not busy. “This is a great workout class. I like the format of the 4 - 15 minute segments. The instructors are motivating and keep you engaged through class. It's sometimes confusing to keep up with the instruction but the overall atmosphere is that it's best to keep going & catch back up. My only complaint is that the music can be SUPER loud, but that varies by class”

“CTF is an 'old school' gem in all the best possible ways; still privately, locally owned, yet still manages to have all the best equipment in the city that always seems to be empty just when I need it, a friendly community of committed 'real' weight lifters none of whom have big egos, and a ton of the best trainers. Though they all seem very competent, I've especially enjoyed weight training under the guidance of Rick Decker, who is at least as experienced in keeping people safe and getting them strong as any physical therapist or coach I've been treated or trained by, plus he's energetic, dedicated, easy to access for scheduling, and has kept me injury free and getting stronger every day, for over two years. Oh, they have a pool now too. Do yourself a favor, look past the flashy 'globo gyms' and check out CTF.”

“I like how the workouts are structured for me. I don't have to think about what I'm going to do that day. At the same time, the workouts are different every time I go, so I don't feel like I'm doing the same thing over and over again. I always feel challenged, but never unable to complete the workouts. I've visited a few locations, and Broad Ripple, by far, has the nicest, most welcoming staff and coaches.”

“It’s a small gym but ever since it was taken over by the new owner it’s been kept up way better. The bottles to spray the machines with are now full most of the time. Clean towels and or wet wipes are always there. The bathrooms are clean for the most part. You can tell someone is taking care of the place now.It’s rarely crowded and in my near 4 year experience here, it’s better than ever before.Like I said, it’s small and there’s not a crazy amount of benches/other equipment but it’s rarely an issue. You also have the option to go visit another anytime fitness if you don’t find it suitable. Everyone here is nice!”

“Not to be cheesy, but PACE IS THE PLACE! The trainers are amazing on every level and there’s such a fun energy that makes you want to work harder! They are extremely knowledgeable and are constantly educating themselves to stay ahead and bring new training techniques to the clients to keep things fresh, fun and effective. They are accommodating to every level of fitness and every stage (and age) of life. I personally was a college athlete and have trained this way my entire life and continue to even now after having 2 babies. Justin started training me when my first son was 7 months old, through my second pregnancy, and postpartum as well. He knew exactly how to modify exercises based on where I was at physically to help me stay in shape during pregnancy, how to slowly and safely ease me back into working out postpartum, and how to push me to achieve my goals of getting back to prepregnancy shape. On days where I was unable to get a babysitter they allowed my sons to be in a stroller with me while I worked out so that I could still get my training in (huge Mommy win that also left me with no excuses to skip sessions). When my family came to visit, my parents both came to workout with me (they are both 58 years old) and they loved every second of it even though we were exhausted afterwards! The environment at PACE is always inviting, full of great music that motivates you to push through your workouts, and leaves you feeling accomplished, even after a hard day! If you’re tired of the same old monotonous stuff and are ready to reach your fitness goals, and be pushed out of your comfort zone, look no further! PACE really is the place to go!”

“Our 3 year-old takes the sweet peas class on Tuesdays at 12:10. This is her first experience with gymnastics and she absolutely loves it! Her coach is phenomenal with the littles, giving them some freedom to explore their boundaries while making sure they are always improving their form and being safe. “This place is amazing! Small class-size and friendly participants. The instructors are upbeat, encouraging, and energetic, but not "hardcore". We laugh a lot in class. Lots of options for plans: unlimited monthly pass, reasonably priced 10 pack to use over 60 days, or you can buy one class at a time. Plus you can attend one week for free to check everything out before you commit! Love that the bathrooms have hair ties, spray deodorant, etc. For me, the system works very well as I'm not very self motivated at a gym. So I sign up for class, show up, and the time flies. They also have Pilates for separate purchase if that interests you. Bonus used sneaker recycling drop off, book and puzzle exchange adds to the sweet milieu. You won't regret accepting your week of free classes, and then you'll be hooked!”
