We recently had our wedding at Finley Creek and we received so many compliments on how great the setting was, how beautiful, etc. I truly think this is a gem of a property and will only keep increasing in popularity. We had great weather and were able to fully utilize the grounds, which are definitely the highlight of the venue. The setting is really wonderful and our guests loved the outdoor area with string lights. We had about 160 guests and felt we had enough space inside, I do think closer to 180-200 may feel a bit cramped. The new bridal suite was perfect for getting final touches and hiding out before the ceremony. In addition, the log cabin was great for the groom and groomsmen to tuck away in as well. For the ceremony location, I do think some weeding was needed on the grass as it looked a little off.We did have an issue where we were double-booked and found out a few months after we had signed the contract/paid the deposit and after we had sent save the dates and hired vendors. So that was a bit of a hurdle, however we do feel as if Finley Creek took a lot of steps to make the transition to the new date as seamless as possible and we did appreciate that and ultimately understand, mistakes can happen. They have hired a new management company and I think as they get the wrinkles out, that will go a long way.

Our wedding reception was at FCV and it was great! We got so many compliments about how beautiful the space and grounds were. We loved the rustic feel, being able to take pictures outside with all of the grass and trees, as well as photos on the tree swing and vineyard. Only real downside was that we did a few call dances (aka need to be on perimeter of dance floor and have nobody in the middle) and there wasn't enough room on the dance floor for this (150 people at the reception). But when we were doing normal dancing, there was plenty of room.

Great place for wedding, staff wonderful to work with. Beautiful buildings, gardens, etc... food wonderful.

I hope that my experience was just a bad day for them, but they really dropped the ball. I booked a tour for 6:15 and when I arrived, 3 people looked at me from around the back of the building. They went back to what they were doing before I got out of my car, so I assumed it was either another tour or people setting up for an event. (I've toured other venues where multiple tours were happening at the same time, so didn't think twice about them ignoring me.)I went inside, but no one was there. I checked my emails, but there wasn't a contact number. I emailed the person I was supposed to meet and tried calling the number listed for the venue on Google, but I couldn't get any answers. After waiting 20 mins I decided to try looking for the people I had seen when I arrived.When I found them, the person who was supposed to give me a tour told me that she had gotten behind on her schedule and overbooked her tours - that's fine, but why didn't she email me as soon as she knew that my tour would be late? More importantly, why did she ignore me when I arrived??I was so frustrated that I didn't even care to see the venue anymore so I left. She came up to my car trying to say that she could still do my tour, so I told her that ignoring me when I arrived was rude. She just shrugged and apologized halfheartedly.From what I saw, the venue is beautiful. Too bad the customer service was so terrible.
