I took my RV into Crash Doctor. I had a $100 deductible from my insurance to pay for a paint job on part of the front hood due to vandalism. The owner found two in-house batteries needing replaced, charging $174 each. So, very little labor involved as they just sit in the side of the RV and attach the cables on the batteries. Total so far is approximately $450. The only other things I had asked of him, three times (which the owner would NOT answer) was “How much was an oil change and checking air in my tires? I’m a widow and I don’t have money to throw away. I told him to forego the oil change after he complained that I didn’t tell him about this in the beginning. By the time he got my RV done, it was a day before I was to leave for my trip. I had taken my RV into him about two or three weeks prior. So, I get a bill of $1,161. He NEVER gave me an estimate, nor did he ever answer my question after asking 3 times how much an oil change was. So, he still did the oil change. How could $600 labor be involved to set in two batteries where nothing was in the way to put them in? I have the valve extenders to easily check tire pressure. He did an oil change I told him to forego bc of his complaining and every time I asked him previously how much one was, he would not tell me. I told him to forego the oil change and by him doing it any way, my bill went from $448 before tax and there would be hardly any labor (placing two batteries in), to $1,161. I told him that that amount could not be my bill and must be part of what the insurance owes. He said no, it’s all my bill. I asked for a break down of the $600 in labor and he never gave me this either. He never ever gave me an estimate prior to the work being done and I was leaving the next day on my trip. I paid him as I needed my RV back for my trip and I couldn’t cancel my campground reservations either, at that point. He told me his wife was a lawyer and we didn’t even have words at that time about my rights. He just happen to throw that into the conversation, probably so I wouldn’t think about doing anything, after I questioned him about my bill. I will be exercising my rights as a single woman who should never ever have been treated this way!! Also, how does an owner not know how much an oil change is after being asked 3 times? Then he does it without giving an estimate, even when I told him to forego it. So, I never heard of a bill rising from $450 to $1,161 bc of this. I know that some places are around $200 for an oil change. So, how could my bill, even if he had gotten permission, ever had come to $1,161? I will never ever tell someone to take their business to Crash Doctor. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. IT’S NEVER RIGHT TO TREAT ANYONE THIS WAY, ESPECIALLY A WIDOWED WOMAN WHO HAS LOST HER HUSBAND!!

Arrogant , deceitful, and insulting! Poor customer service! They may have been around a long time but after my experience (too long to write), not sure how!Got a honest straight answer from my insurance adjuster and it is clearly not what I was told by this place. Glad I went elsewhere!!!

The job was completed when they said it would be done. It was an expert job. They saved me more than $2000 from another estimate that I had. I would highly recommend crash doctors.
