This place is wonderful and SO cute! The owner is so nice and helpful as well. They have a lot of lamps, furniture pieces, and more. Come check them out! Fun fact: They’ve been in business for 75 years.

Fantastic finds in his cute little neighborhood. I think it’s the oldest antique store in the area.

What a great experience! I had 2 antique lamps I needed new shades for. Not only did he help me find the best fit! But also helped me with adjustment. Google says they are open until 4:30pm. But they are open until 4. I showed up at 4pm and not only did the owner help me, never said a word about how they should be closed! Even invited me to look around! All there lampshades are hand made in the USA! Love that! Well worth the drive! I highly recommend Browns!!! My lamps looks stunning with these new lampshades!!!

Such a cool and quirky series of shops and buildings filled with odd antiques and new lampshades. Highly recommend this place if you're in need of having a lamp rewired or repaired. Stopped in two weeks ago, and they rewired the lamp and set me up with a new shade. Some great deals on vintage furniture.

Chris was so polite and courteous. I drove all the way from Plainfield, IN to have a lamp repaired. I was expecting to drop it off and pick it up in a few days but he fixed it right there on the spot. It took him 15 minutes and his price very reasonable. I will be back!

It was lovely! I took an antique lamp in for repair and was fortunate to meet Cathy, the owner's wife. We had a lovely chat and when I turned to leave, a folk art picture of a little girl caught my eye and I couldn't leave without her. I will look forward to returning to pick up my lamp when it is finished.

Yesterday was the second time I've taken a new-to-me, vintage lamp into Brown's. Last time I needed new wring and a lamp shade for two lamps. I still cherish those lamps to this day! This time around, I just needed a shade. I arrived about 30min before closing and I was a little worried about being "that person". Mr Brown was welcoming and made the perfect suggestion for my new lamp! I was in and out in 15 minutes! Talk about amazing service! I love my new-to-me lamp and I look forward to my next visit. Pictures don't do it justice.

This place is a hidden gem! I drove from two counties away, and will continue to do so for all my lamp and shade needs. I have an antique family heirloom raspberry cloisonné lamp that was without a lampshade for ages, all because I couldn't figure out what kind of shade would best suit it. David took one look at my piece, said he knew just what would look best, disappeared into the rabbit warren of lamps and shades, and triumphantly returned with the perfect fit!
