“This is one of the finest traditional stores in Allen county, which means one of the finest traditional stores in the state of Indiana, which means one of the finest traditional stores in the world.Normally only local people such as farmers will be found shopping here, but the values are extraordinary and the people you meet will be helpful.. it is lively but never too busy.”
“One of our favorite places in and around Leo-Grabill. Some people might be put off by the animal displays, but it's unique and has a local connection. Prices are up from my last visit... but they are up everywhere.”

317 N Main St, Payne“I frequent the Payne store. It is neat and clean, the personnel are helpful and friendly. I believe people are grateful for the addition of all of the produce BUT what our town needs is a MEAT department. Our local grocery store closed several years ago and we must go out of town for Meat. The nearest grocery is about 15 miles from Payne and a lot of our elderly do not drive out of town any more and some people young and old walk to our store. Having a Meat department would be a great addition for our town. Please consider this……….”

“Such a convenient little store we have in Grabill! The staff and manager are always so friendly and sweet! Thank you for all you do to keep the store running! We appreciate you!”
“I love being able to walk in and find what I'm looking for! I can't do that in our home town dg! They're always sold out of stuff every one needs!! Half the time we don't even bother stopping anymore! How do you sell out of table salt? Or butter? They've done it more than once!”
