This is not the place to take your loved ones.

First let me start by saying the staff is wonderful. They are very kind and friendly. The vet, not so much! He hardly interacts with the animal or the human. He has misdiagnosed two of my pets, I can only assume that it’s because he is rushing through and not listening. He seems to want to sell you expensive meds that are not needed since the diagnosis is not correct.
I know they are relocating; but this office is gross and very dirty. I highly recommend you find someone else. I can assure you, I will not be taking my animals back.
The two star rating was only because of the awesome support staff!

I do NOT recommend this place. My dog had what seemed like allergies. I take her in and the vet never looked at me, was not personable, didn’t even look at my dog and told me it was allergies. Gave her 2 shots and told me it would work 4-6 weeks. After about 4 days, I noticed she wasn’t getting any better. I called the vet and asked what we could do next. The vet tech gave me attitude over the phone and said they could prescribe a steroid. I tried that and after 7 days on that medicine it still was not getting any better. I called back and of course by this time they were over me calling. They said I could give her a daily allergy medicine, but would have to come in once a month for bloodwork. I decided to move her to Franklin animal clinic and it has been the best thing ever for my dog. She ended up having a bacterial infection. Franklin animal clinic prescribed me the same allergy medicine whiteland wanted to prescribe her and have her come in once a month for bloodwork work, but Franklin told me that coming in for blood work was not necessary. Whiteland likes to just scam people. Whiteland animal clinic is not the place for your pets. They don’t care about your animals, they only care about taking your money. They are so rude and inconsiderate.

Not very clean inside, and staff seemed confused.

Always a great experience. My dog somehow keeps twisting his nails every few months and they always get me in and out quickly! Very reasonably priced. Very kind staff.

Unfortunately, today will be our last visit to Whiteland Animal Clinic. Horrible would be an understatement. The vet is very, unpersonable. He doesn’t even look you in the face or barely look at your dog but yet charges you for an exam. He is literally in the room for less than 30 seconds and off the next patient or should I say victim. He shot my dog up with the Bordetella shot, which was fine because that’s what I asked for. However, my dog was asked to be put on a metal Table which I told them would not work because obviously I’m the owner so I know my dog pretty well. They proceeded to have me put him on the table with no harness as he tried to fight and jump off instead of just doing it on the floor like I had originally suggested —- so then my dog gets taken to a separate room out of my sight where I’m not allowed to go and receives a blood draw. I had to listen to him in the next room, banging on the walls scream, etc. my dog came back about 5 to 10 minutes later and was panting so hard, he could barely breathe, he was literally traumatized . Then when I get ready to leave, they covered my bill one girl at the desk told me I’d have to come back in six months for a Bordetella booster. Halfway into the conversation another girl at the front desk interjected and said no, that’s incorrect. Your dog will have to come back in three weeks for a booster shot of Bordetella. And it will be 39 more dollars. I have never even heard of such a thing …I’ve gotten Bordetella shots and they’ve always been good for a year. Then she proceeded to tell me that the second shot would only give him coverage for six months. So at that point I asked for a record of my dog shots to be printed out. I get to my car look at when the Bordetella shot is due next and on the paper it says 1 yr from now August 2025….WTH? Do any of these people, including the vet even know what they’re talking about the vet never even spoke with me had zero concern for my dog whatsoever and was the most personable that I’ve ever met. This was not our first visit. We’ve been there many times because when we got our dog as a puppy, it was the only one that had appointments available with a reasonable amount of time. Now I know why. We will NEVER be back. The place is also dirty and very old. So disappointed & would NOT recommend!!!! Plus they were almost 20 mins late for our appointment…ridiculous!!!!

I took my dog back in May to get a check up on a issue he was having with his nose. The first appointment I had they called me 2 hours before to tell me that the doctor went home sick. When I call to make another appointment the girl on the phone told me that he was in surgery that day and nobody knew about it. I find it hard to believe that the staff wouldn't know that. I felt like I was lied to. When I went in for the rescheduled appointment the girl at the desk didn't say hello or greet me. I told her I was here with my dog and I had an appointment for 12:30. Her response was, "We don't have any rooms available." I said I'm not leaving because I have an appointment and you already canceled on me before. She told me to wait in my car and then they would call me when a room came available. She could have just told me they we're running behind and I would have been fine with that but her approach was completely unprofessional. Everything went downhill from there. The vet was awkward and never looked me in the eye. He didn't even barely look at my dog's nose but then wanted to take X-rays of his chest. They had a hard time getting the muzzle on him so the girl comes into the other room where I'm at and hands me a muzzle and I have no idea what it was. She tells me to put it on my dog. I had no idea how to put it on and it was way too small and it was rubbing on the infection he had on his nose. He was not having it. He was fighting me and I told the girl, "This is not my job to put the muzzle on him." I told her I was done and I was leaving. I insisted that they gave me a prescription for antibiotic for his nose because that's what I went in for. Everybody there was just unprofessional like they all just got out of vet school. And as I was leaving I noticed they still had a small Christmas tree on a table in their lobby. It's May people take your Christmas decor down! Needless to say, I will never return. The only reason I went was because I got a free visit. It was awful.

Came in the other week for my dog to get his toe nails cut. They said for him to be able to cut his toe nails cut next time needs his rabies shot. I approved for the to do the rabies vaccine. I get to the car once everything is said and done get to looking at my invoice and they charged me for other shot I did not approve of for my dog. They are scamming people out of money. I will never bring my dog here again. They don’t care what the owners say they just do. What they want to no matter what the owner says I would never recommend this place for far many for reasons then this. One angry customer who will not be coming back.

The service was incredibly rude. First time pet owner, and first checkup appointment. They treated me very terribly, with little to no explanation on vaccines, concerns, or the checkup itself. Immediately found a new vet.

I was a customer for years then came the day they hired a Gen Z with zero people skills and topped off with a terrible attitude, if you go there and the woman with blonde hair and the youngest and shortest employee there don't look nor speak to her unless you want your head to boil. I spend my money at another vet now.

Filthy, old wooden floors. I would never let my dog on those floors. Wood harbors germs and bacteria. Went there to get first round of puppy shots. The doctor didn't even wear gloves. I don't feel this place is safe or sanitary.

Service was good. Doctor did a good job, seems very knowledgeable. As for the clinic itself…. It needs a deep clean, items need repaired ie, bathroom sink handle is broken. Odor was overpowering. PLEASE CLEAN YOUR CLINC

Took our cat here. They said his liver numbers were extremely high, that he needed a special diet, probably be on meds rest of his life, ect.
Took him less than two weeks later to another vet. Turns out his liver numbers were never high. What was high could've possibly been gallbladder (did ultrasound, wasn't), or bacterial infection. They prescribed medications he did not need. Overcharged (other vet did same test plus mote and was still half the cost(, left us to believe or cat could die!! They should be ashamed of dang near committing fruad and scaring people like that. The wrong person could've listened to them and ended up unnecessarily putting their animal down. They should be ASHAMED. I will not be taking any animal here ever again and I will be sharing to anyone who will listen what absolute ridiculousness this place is full of. Save your time, money and stress. Go to a real clinic.
