Erin, the owner at the Wandering Peacock, creates a peaceful, calming atmosphere that allows pottery creators from novice to expert to experience a safe space to create creations using their own creativity with as little or as much assistance and coaching needed. Each class Erin takes the time to review the class creations together to admire one another’s work and leave the experience feeling encouraged and uplifted. Potters from ages 4-99 alike would enjoy this business and I highly encourage you to experience it for yourselves as well.

Went as a date for my wife’s birthday. It was an easy process scheduling & getting in. Erin was really nice & made us feel super optimistic about our molds. I’d definitely recommend it was our first time but won’t be the last! Thanks to you again !!! See you for the glaze!

I reached out to Erin for a couples pottery class for my girlfriend and I over the holidays. She was super responsive and was able to get us scheduled easily. The class was PHENOMENAL she gives you enough instruction to get you going, help when you need, and encourages you to use your intuition and creativity. We had a blast learning about pottery and ourselves.
The experience keeps on giving since you come back after they’re dried to glaze any color you’d like! My girlfriend and I are now the proud parents of 6 vessels that are already in use. We cherish our powerstack. Thanks Erin!
Make sure to say hi to the studio kitty, he loves attention ?

What do you get your mother for her birthday? An amazing experience she will remember with her kids and grandkids. Erin hosted a private party for our family and totally crushed it. She created such a positive energy and environment for a fun and intimate pottery session. Kids ranged from 4 - 13 and she was able to empower them to be creative by the feel of the clay.We are excited to paint our creations around Christmas when my family comes back in town.

I left a one star because my wife had scheduled an appointment weeks a head of time for her friends birthday. They were very excited and had planned their day starting with The Wandering Peacock. After arriving they didn't see anyone inside and after knocking several separate times, she found the number in her confirmation email. The owner just didn't show up for their appointment and never notified her. I understand things happen with scheduling, but this seemed very unprofessional. Will not be trying again.

Great addition to community. Art gallery for beginners to experts to throw clay, glaze, and paint. Erin is always helpful and instructive while educating. If you have younger artists you should definitely check out the art classes and camps.

This place is absolutely beautiful. I took a solo lesson with the help of the leading lady and her awesome team of volunteers -- they're able to make the daunting beginning stages of pottery so much less scary. I seriously recommend this place to anyone who's thinking about it -- give them a call with any questions, they love to help!!! The prices are amazing for the service and everything included.

I went to my second class. Erin is a wonderful teacher. She gives good feedback to help you learn the process of pottery. She has a great, calm teaching spirit that puts you in a good mental place. If you like working with your hands, try taking her class. I promise you will not be disappointed.

My wife bought me a class for Christmas. Making pottery has always been a bucket-list experience for me. Erin was awesome! She is very knowledgeable and patient! She literally sits in front of you and helps guide your hands on the wheel to help you create something cool. Then in 2-3 weeks you return and she helps you glaze your vessels. I was thoroughly pleased with our class and the end results!

My 5 & 6 year old had a terrific time spinning pots. They were there for about 1.5 hours and loved it. My 5 yr old son was not very interested at first but the lady that helped him didn't give up on him. The look forward to going back in a few weeks to glaze and bake their new cereal bowls!

Erin was so sweet! She showed me around the place with all the art and the activities that people can do there! And on a side note, I am on the autism spectrum, and I have this hobby that I have been doing for about 20 years, where I collect pictures of ceiling fans, and she had three of them. She found my hobby interesting, which makes it even better! It was a nice little shop! The shop cat was cute and friendly, too. Highly recommend for those art fanatics in the area!
