I met Maris for the first time for highlights. She is wonderfully gifted at listening to her customers' needs. I found her to be so very kind. She also works with your schedule to find an appointment time that works well for both you and her availability. I highly recommend her. She takes a lot of pride in her work and absolutely does a fabulous job.

I had an appointment with Brandi! She was great, personable and I could tell she knew a lot about hair! She helped me pick a cut for my hair type, and styled my hair after! I really appreciated her not trying to get me to do more than I wanted as that has been my experience before! I am trying to go back to my natural color after years of balayage. The salon was beautiful and very clean!

I have seen Maris for months for blowouts and haircuts and she does an amazing job! I’m always satisfied after my appointment. She has such a kind spirit and is so personable . She stands by her work and always makes sure I am happy with my final style before I leave (which is always). She is very talented and I could not say enough good things about her. Hands down, five stars!!!

My daughter came here to get her hair done by Maris. She wanted a cut and highlights but what she got was horrific. The stylist did not blend her layers and fried off a good chunk of her hair. My daughter had long pretty hair and she left with 3 inches of hair attached to the first half of her scalp. She called me in tears and told me to come to the salon as fast as possible. When I showed up, Maris was hiding in the back room leaving my daughter in the salon crying and having an anxiety attack. I talked to her and she said she knows she messed up and that it looks bad but she also started crying too which is totally unprofessional to do. She said she couldn’t fix my daughter’s hair and hid in the back room. tried to contact the owner multiple times and had no luck so I resorted to calling the police. The owner responded with the untruth saying that we were threatening, we were not threatening anyone, I called the police to help calm the matter. I wish posting a picture of her before and after is possible but it seems like the owner took off that option for the reviews. My daughter added the pictures of her hair on yelp.

I came to this salon for a new cut and highlights, and Maris was my stylist. What I wanted was a layered look, but what I got was a disaster. The layers were uneven and drastic. imagine half short, half long, and all choppy. It was so upsetting that I burst into tears and had to call my dad for support because my hair was butchered. Maris, meanwhile, was so distraught she couldn't even face the situation and admitted the mess and HID IN THE BACK. She offered to fix it, but she was crying hysterically over my hair and over the entire situation. I attempted to reach the owner for a resolution but she didn't respond. This has been the most traumatic salon experience I've ever endured. My hair is damaged and the cut is a catastrophe. The owner needs to look at the cameras and teach her how to cut hair. like genuinely do not come here because my hair looks like i've been electrocuted.

Call call call and no answers. Try and get their attention online....finding out that businesses that don't communicate when they are busy struggle in the other parts of the year. Very very disappointed. There is only so much being ignored that I can take.

I had an appointment with Sydney and she did highlights. Let's just say I went in feeling like a 2 and came out feeling like 10.I literally can't stop looking the mirror. My hair has never look this before. I love it so much.She is the best stylist. I will be returning.Thank you so much, Sydney!!!

I needed to get a trim before family photos and vacation to clean up my dead ends and couldn't get ahold of the stylist I typically go to. I figured it was just a trim so I could probably go anywhere. I chose The Beauty Mark based on Yelp reviews alone. I called and left a message and heard back from Brittany Camp right away. She got me in within the week, which was great. Unfortunately the cut was uneven and I had to take scissors to it with my husband's help once I got home. I also walked out of there with wet hair. Instead of a flat iron or curling iron, which is how I said I typically style it, she defused it for all of three minutes. It was a mess. I had to go straight home to blow it dry, clean up the cut, and style it. I don't think I've had a worse experience at a salon before. I guess I need to be more patient with my own stylist or confer with friends before just going to a random salon on a whim.

Had the best experience! My stylist Joanna did an incredible job on me as a brand new walk-in client. She helped me accomplish the chop I was seeking and styled me perfectly before I left. I really enjoyed the overall vibe of the salon, from its gorgeous wood ceiling to the music and conversation with my stylist. I will be coming back!
