We were traveling home to Michigan and googled "hotel with pool" along our route. Three young kids, staying at a hotel with a pool is a treat for them that we don't get to experience often. We were so excited to find this hotel! I verified with the woman at check-in that the pool was open and what time it opened (because we have run into hotel pools opening late morning in the past, so they didn't have time to swim before checkout). The one thing we paid for was there, great! We woke up, ate your typical hotel breakfast (on styrofoam plates, which is nasty and needs to be changed), then went up to our room and got all 5 family members into their swimsuits. We rushed downstairs, our girls basically ran to the pool ("poo" on their signage) only to find a "POOL CLOSED" sign on the door. My girls instantly started crying. The front desk just kept saying it was "out of their control," because the chemicals needed to be adjusted and it wouldn't be opened until noon (after check-out time). Something that could have been done at mid-night, or even after check-out times, between guest stays. She tried to deflect by saying it WAS open at 7, seemingly suggesting that I should have woken my girls up early after a 6 hour drive the day before, in order to use their pool before they shut it down. After complaining a second time, she offered a $20 refund which is a joke TBH. We paid $130 to stay at a hotel WITH A POOL and would not have stayed here had there not been a pool, period. A full refund should have been provided. They even offered to call another area hotel to see if we could swim there, lol. Because leaving the hotel we paid for with 3 little kids and driving to another hotel when we needed to get home to Michigan is a reasonable thing to do ? Our first, and last, Marriot hotel experience.Food & drinks: Food not good, on toxic styrofoam plates. THE worst coffee we have ever tasted.

The rooms are large and clean. The services are good too. Recommend it, though, a bit expensive.

Staff was accommodating and friendly. Entire hotel was clean throughout our stay; I love the look of the hotel! Everything such as the pool, gym equipment & waffle machine was available everyday we were there. We will be back. The only negative thing is the location it is a little far out. Wish it was more closer to the downtown area in Indianapolis. There was a soccer tournament during Labor day weekend, which was good because my youngest daughter had a lot of kids to keep her busy. One of the best hotels I've stayed at thus far.

Worried with the number of kids / noise, but we had a 1st floor room and was very quiet. Nice clean

Overall, my stay here was excellent!I stayed with all my kids, from a baby to a teenager, and I can honestly say they were all very happy. Starting from a clean lobby to a clean room. We had two rooms, so we can actually say that we had rooms to compare on cleanliness and satisfaction. The rooms were both in a great state. They offer breakfast and a wide area to accommodate your big family if you need it. My kids loved that they got to make their own waffles. So, if you want a hotel that is peaceful and clean only a few minutes away from great restaurants, malls, and attractions, this is definitely the place to be. Away enough from downtown to be able to enjoy the quiet but close enough to enjoy the night life if you so choose. Also, as a parent to an Autistic child, I was afraid the noise or atmosphere would set my child off or possibly bother other customers, but that was not the case. Everyone that my child encountered was super friendly and amicable towards him. Will definitely make this one of my yearly vacation spots.Rooms: We cleaned and smelled as such.Nearby activities: There are many fun places to eat around.Safety: It is well lit at night and has visibility from wherever you park.Food & drinks: They make really tasty drinks at the bar at happy hour!

Rooms were beautiful, clean and spacious. The bar was a bit of a joke if you are looking for a nightcap. No drink menu. And the 1st four drinks we tried to order, they didn't have the ingredients for (Margarita on the rocks, espresso martini, amoretto sour and one other my wife tried to order). The bartender was super friendly though and we figured it out. ?Nearby activities: Mike and a half from the biggest sportsplex I ever saw.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Shower door leaked badly, needed extra towels for the floor. Sharp corners on the baseboard tiles need some attention. Expecting better from a new hotel.

Meka who worked the breakfast bar was very very rude to me and my guess over asking if they have decaffeinated coffee. She works there I don't so once we came back to our room we send they had decaffeinated coffee 2 days later which all she had to say was check ur room. I came down there for a wedding from Las Vegas nv so I was on the go from the time I checked in to the time I left so checking or making coffee myself was the last thing I had time for. On another note the otuer 3 staff I had contact with was very nice and sweet kudos to Tony for turning on my fridge and Ashley for helping me out my wardrobe and Maddie for taking my concerns. And my room was clean and perfect

Rooms are very nice. Kept very clean and has a desk to work at on the computer. Decent sized shower with plenty of hot water. Beds are comfy and the AC/HEAT works great. Free breakfast in the morning consisting of eggs, sausage, waffle maker, juices and cereal. All in all springhill suites is a nice place to stay.

There was nothing bad to say about our family stay at this hotel. Very comfortable quiet night. Awesome breakfast to fuel us for the rest of our road trip. Dana for night check in and Lisa for day check out. Both ladies were very professional and welcoming. Will definitely recommend others and hopefully coming again will prefer to stay here. With love from Los Angeles, California.

Very clean hotel, comfortable too. My issue is that the hotel switched my confirmed reservation for a King room to double Queens. Since the night manager told me he would discount our room for their change, I was ok with it. Only to find out at checkout they charged me MORE than my original reservation. The young girl at the desk could only say “I’m sorry”. Not what I was expecting from Marriott
