I've been to several Walmarts and I think this one is relatively good! Everyone has so far been friendly and helpful, which is a pleasant plus. I've noticed this location hire people who are older or who have disabilities, showing they are trying to increase their diversity. It's brightly lit and things are generally tidy, and there is always a friendly face that greets you when you enter and exit all making for a welcoming environment. Produce selection has the basics, but I do wish they had a little more variety. Sometimes there are some shortages on basics, but if you come back in 1-2 days usually they're restocked again. What I really like about this location is that I can get my car serviced while grocery shopping! A time saver and great prices for oil changes. One drawback is that checkout lines are long and could potentially move along slowly. Even though the self checkout line is longer, it's still probably faster.

Didn't realize how good to their app and self-checkout experience combination was! What a slick and that seamless system that allows to integrate multiple payments, credit card, debit, prepaid, gift cards, and cash while even splitting up the check to play with various forms of each: This is what makes Walmart a step above the rest for me. I also found a massive selection of well-organized beverages fit for a university city unlike the other big groceries in the area. There is some frustration with finding to actually discounted items here. Kroger has all the others beat in that regard. Especially with the B grade produce that seems to be just thrown out even though it is often just as good and even tastier since it has been ripened naturally, thus looking slightly weird and not right for store shelves - save farmers and us all a lot of money and waste. Self checkout is super easy, but as you can imagine this gets insanely busy during semesters where it becomes a madhouse and not worth shopping.

Was pretty well-stocked with everything one could need while passing through on vacation. One kinda glaring thing missing: jackets! I know, I know, it's June, but it's chilly out at night. I went one evening after 9pm and damn near every other person here was in a Purdue hoodie or sweatshirt or jacket, but there wasn't a hoodie, sweatshirt, or jacket to be found in the store. Corporate stupidity or analytics that ignore the needs of the customers.

Great place to get flowers for a decent price. There are always a great clearance section.

I made an order to be delivered directly on the Walmart website. I asked for it to be signed and to please text upon arrival. No one showed up, and I was still charged. Customer service was rude and said it wasn't their problem. No refund and they won't send me the order again. I will never shop there again.

This Walmart is lazy. Not one register open. I had 2 carts of groceries and asked a register to be open. Nothing but small self checkout open. Plenty of personnel all over the store. Took me just about an hour to scan and bag everything. You would think at least one regular check out would be available. Grrrrrrrr.

Attempted to use Walmart pay at Murphy's and no associate was aware of it, in fact, they conflated it with Apple Pay, completely different things. Walmart associates are always behind in understanding what the customer is being offered.

Took my vehicle here for a new tire. the next day it was flat. The valve stem needed changed. Took it back and they broke the lug nuts that they over torqued and sent me to another shop to get it fixed at my expense that they would reimburse. Cut to today and they tell me it's a lengthy process involving lots of paperwork to reimburse me and I'm standing here waiting as they walk around deciding what to do. Since yesterday I have heard from several others in the area that experienced this and I would not recommend.i have receipts and documentation and a recording from them telling me they messed up.

This Walmart's service is atrocious. As someone who has worked in customer service before, I cringe almost every time I ask someone for help. The associates put forth almost no effort to help customers - at best, they'll tell you what aisle something is on (having previously worked at Walgreens, my expectation is that they should go with me and help me find the item or offer an alternative if it is not available), and at worst, they'll simply tell you that it isn't their area of expertise and either not recommend another associate to help or promise to go get the other associate and then never come back. The customer service associates are blase or outright unfriendly, and overall interacting with them is a frustrating experience.I do appreciate Walmart's offering pickup and delivery, which is the main reason this Walmart didn't get 1 star, but today I even had a negative experience with that. In the app, I selected to allow substitutions, but upon receiving an email about one substitution in particular (they gave me inferior Great Value brand bacon instead of choosing a different higher-quality brand), I decided to give them a call and ask if something could be done about it. I don't know what I was expecting. The associate on the phone was unhelpful and essentially told me it was too close to my order time, even though according to the app, my order was still in the "handpicking" process and I had received the email only about 15 minutes before (and had been on the phone for several minutes by that point). Now I'm stuck with a brand of bacon that will cook down to almost nothing (*their* brand of bacon, I should add) instead of the good bacon I ordered.I don't know, maybe after working at Walgreens, I have some outsized expectations of customer service. Maybe it's asking too much for the customer service associates to actually act like they *want* to help you and *want* to make your experience at their store a positive one. Or maybe, just maybe, Walmart should train their employees to be a little bit nicer and actually put forth some effort. Just a thought.
