Loved it. Has everything you need to get big. The atmosphere is perfect. Only thing I don’t like is the hours but it is what it is. Still give it a 9/10.

Great experience when I visited Universal Fitness & Training with my personal trainer Cindy Cox! Cannot recommend her enough!

It's a place where Rocky would train.

There is no money put into the upkeep of this facility. The cardio equipment is outdated and a lot of it hasn't worked correctly in years. They no longer offer any type of classes except for one on one personal training. There are many members quitting because of the way they and others are being treated by trainers (letters written to owners and managers by many members and nothing done). They have a big problem as a business when it comes to keeping their staff professional. I worked out here for 3 years and used to like it, but I wouldn't even recommend this gym over Planet Fitness at this point. The atmosphere is terrible.

The gym itself was pretty good. It had everything I needed. However, management is terrible! I cancelled my membership back in May, but kept getting charged. I've called and made physical appearances to get it resolved yet a manager is conveniently never there. I was told a manager would call me back at least 10 times now. I was told I'd get refunded for the months I was charged after my membership expired. I've yet to receive that. It's a good gym if you never plan on canceling your membership, then it just becomes the biggest pain.

The gym is a pretty basic set up. A lot of the equipment is old, but it had everything needed. The management is terrible. They're never at the facility and they never return phone calls. The facility is pretty good, but steer clear of this place if you're not looking to keep your membership for a lifetime.

Pros: Power lifting area Lots of space Never seen it crowded Machines are well maintained Great rates Almost always playing good music Cons: Only one squat rack Some of the dumbbells are in rough shape It's not fancy. It doesn't have a smoothie bar or offer free pizza nights, but if you want to pump iron, you'll feel at home here. I've worked out at most of the gyms in the area and this is I feel the most at home at.

Piloxing, Plyoga, Turbo, Piloxing Barre are my favs! Very challenging workouts that always push you. Work at your own level, never feel that you're not "fit" enough to be there... everyone is there to push beyond their own personal fitness levels. You'll never plateau with these workouts!

Pros: lots of equipment lots of space usually not crowded reasonably priced Cons: Dirty does not begin to describe this place. I've been to truck stop restrooms managed by one eyed hillbillies in rural Georgia that were cleaner than this place. Seriously in the nine months I've been here there are still the same s*** stains on the toilet that have not been cleaned once. Sauna is full of trash. Overall: Still the best gym in the area if you can look past the cleanliness (or lack there of).

It's pretty huge and rarely crowded (even when it is, you'll never find yourself waiting on a machine). And the quality of the equipment is almost always great. If you're serious about it, this place will do you justice. It's a gym, not a hotel, this is more than you'll need. Plus, the staff are truly amazing (seriously). There's even rope-climbing. Also, I'm someone who doesn't like crowded gyms, and in some days, I'm almost alone in there!
