My previous visits were really nice but the most recent one in April was terrible. The layering was done by thinning my hair and cutting some extremely short while leaving others significantly longer. I had to wait for two months for the short hair to grow longer so that I can partially fix it at another place. I will not come back but I do think the more experienced stylists are good at what they do (the three stars are for them).

The worst hair cut I’ve ever gotten. Cut my hair in 5 minutes, cut it way shorter than I asked for, and expected over $20 for it all. Never come here.

Fair pricing and hairdressers are nice but l was somewhat disappointed with the fact that my loose hairs were not brushed (or blow dried) off before getting up to leave. Simple thing that would have gone a long way.

I just had the worst haircut in my life.Took half an hour and was super pricey for what I got. I expected much more considering the reputation. Disappointed!

3 mins for 20 dollars. I asked her to trim the hair and she asked me how to trim it. This price is reasonable if she spend at least 10 mins.

The staff is nice and friendly. However, I feel they are in a hurry to cut your hair so that they can attend the next customer quickly. I asked for a faded blend effect on the sides. I washed and dried my hair at home, and noticed that instead of a smooth fade and blend, my hair have discrete visibility of short and long hair. The long hair are standing out giving it a very bad look. The top hair are fine. I feel you need to ensure that the blend is achieved perfectly else it takes away from the overall purpose of the faded effect. For $23, i feel you can definitely do that. Else I would rather pay $16 at great clips if i want this level of haircut. I only go to Henni’s since I feel they are the best here and worth that extra money. Don’t know if I’ll go there next time.

I had my first appt for a medium-length hair perm, and it was amazing. Shout out to Kelsie (if i got the name right) for the great work, she was attentive and patient and giving clear explanations to what she was doing.

This is the GO-TO hair shop, salon, or barber place at Purdue university. I always get my hair cut by *AMBER*, and so do my roommates and she does a great job. I do recommend booking with her, as she does a better job than the younger ppl there to be honest. The people there are all very kind, and are very easy to talk to if you strike up a conversation. The vibe in the hair shop is nice and bright. I do appreciate how Amber remembers who I am when I come back every month, which makes the hair cutting more personalized. Make sure you know what you want before you go there or else you'll end up with something you don't want. That's how it works. You need to tell your barber how u want the hair cut. I usually ask for a 0-2 fade or something similar. Also make sure to call ahead for an appointment as they fill up fast so walk ins are typically unavailable.

Staff can be a more polite. I found them a bit cold and unconcerned towards their customers. I got few min late, she gave me a sort of warning that next time you won’t be allowed. That was strange and not appropriate, as a customer you don’t feel welcome over there.

I use to come here when I went to Purdue and happened to be passing through and needed a trim. Amber (omg I hope I remember your name correctly, if not I am so sorry). She was able to take me as a walk in and did a great job sculpting a new hairdew for me. She was fast, kind, a great story teller and I recommend everyone get their hair washed out by her. It is the self care everyone needs. If I pass through again I will be back.

Third time going to Henni’s. First two were great and this last was possibly the worst haircut of my life when all I needed was a small touch up. Stylist didn’t even wet my hair before haphazardly cutting. Probably could’ve made straighter cuts than she did in a dark closet with a bowl and a pair of scissors.Service: Haircut
