I'm giving 3 stars because they do have a wonderful selection of Asian food, but the prices are somewhat on the high side. The major downside is that the owner/employees are very unhelpful and downright rude!I have tried every time I have been there to get the lady to at least say hi or even smile, but nope, she just won't!?I feel if you are planning on having a business that you're interacting with people-customers, then being friendly, helpful, and customer service is a major plus!

It has innovated itself for the last few years. This is not a bad place to buy Korean or Japanese products. It's true the price is relatively high as others pointed out. However, the thing is that the owner is not friendly and attentive to customers.

We love Hana Market! My kids love going in there to try out different snacks, and I love the grocery options that I don't get at other supermarket stores. The people who are always working there when I go are always so kind and helpful.

Updated review 05/08/2022After the renovation, many more fresh vegetables (soybean sprouts, sesame leaves, Asian radish, etc.) and pre-cooked meal packages are available for sale. Bulgogi, spicy stir-fried pork, and tonkatsu (pork cutlet) are $8-10 ish. Korean side dishes are $4-6 which is a fairly good price for the quality. Good selection of Korean products if you seek specific ones (snacks, drinks, frozen food, spices, etc.) Some products are pricey but it is worth it to get them from the Hana market than driving 6hr round trip to Chicago h mart.Previous review from 2019A great place to buy kimchi (good selection of kimchi at a good price). The variety of frozen Korean food selection is pretty good, but not much of a choice for vegetables. I was intend to buy sesame leaves, but they didn't have any. This grocery store is not the best option if you are looking for other Asian products (e.g., Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Thai, Filipino, etc.) since most products are from Korea or a few Japanese products.

Clean and well organized market. The focus here seems to be almost entirely on Korean products, so if you're looking for that, this is the place to be. The prices are sometimes not marked or hard to find on things, so if you are price sensitive, you have to ask the staff.

Excellent Asian-Food market if you are looking for Korean and Japanese food items in the Tippecanoe County area. The manager is a lovely and helpful woman who clearly works hard at keeping desired inventory in stock. If you want to try Japanese and Korean snacks and drinks, you definitely should visit Hana Market at least one time and pick up a bag of Japanese Kit-Kat or a bottle of Milkis or Ramuné.
