The staff is nice but the bank if absolutely awful. They cancel my card, take out money at random, and they mess with your account without even giving you a heads up. Their app is constantly in repair and frankly I’m sick of them. I’m switching to a different bank, they are holding my money hostage and if you want to be financially secure, do NOT go with fifth third. I suggest Purdue Federal, at least their people know what they’re doing and won’t cancel your cards and take your money. Absolutely ridiculous.

I opened a checking account one year ago with an opening bonus offer. I have completed all the required deposit requirement. Guess what, the bonus was never posted. And the customer service told me that the account was not linked to any offer! When I contact the local office, they told me that I should show evidence that they have put the offer code in their system. Frankly, it is their system and how can I prove that?This bank cannot be trusted

Hi,The staff behave me well. They have discipline. They assigned me a personal banker and she regularly follow up my situation. The only negative thing was when I request for credit card, they asked me proof of address and they did not accept anything but my electricity bill. Because I just moved to WL I had to wait 1 month to receive my first bill and then continue my application. My 5 stars merely shows my opinion about the branch and staff and I do not have enough experience with 5/3 yet.

Would just like to share how incredibly nice my first experience was with this bank! I had SO many issues with the Rensselaer fifth Third Bank... I went to this location and they took care of me within minutes and with the greatest respect! Even tho I am not a account holder with this bank currently. I appreciate the amazing customer service! I wish I could remember the name of the gentleman! It was a Thursday mid day! This past Thursday. Anyways thank you !!!!!!

Rachel is awesome! After struggles in the past with lengthy deposits it's nice to see a new teller who is so helpful. She provides amazing customer service and is extremely efficient! She's amazing at her job!

Worst fraud department I have ever encountered. We pay fees for fraud alerts. It takes someone 7 charges to their account, high dollar amounts in a row before the department catches it. Then it takes months to get any of the money back and over 7-10 days for a new atm card. 3rd time in 2017 my account has been hit, 2nd on my husbands. Maybe it's time to pull our 7 accounts from there and look for better banking with customer service or fraud that can actually assist a person.

These branch managers have poor customer service and are not sympathetic to personal situations. I swear - 53 bank probably gives promotions based on how good looking they are... Even though I'm still a customer at this bank (I will switch in the near future once I get settled in) and I will never do business with this bank again. I came into this branch one day describing my financial problems to a banker hoping to get some options (in short - I needed cash to help out my mother who desperately needed it at that time). The branch manager took me to their office (I can't remember her name) and as she was giving me my limited options, I was under the impression that they really didn't give a hoot about my situation and her attitude about my situation was if they were the only ones to help me out! She was also rude to me. At the time, I thought the manager was just having a bad day but as soon as I left, another customer walked in and all of a sudden, she was happy! I didn't think I was acting inappropriate or anything. Shame too - I was hoping I'd start a relationship with this bank for all of my future financial needs (regardless if they were more expensive compared to competitors), but now, I've reconsidered and will never bank with these people again as the actions of this one branch reflects the entire company whole.

Drive through lanes frequently closed for no reason. Staff is slow and inattentive. Since the lane was closed I went inside and patiently waited 20 minutes for an unoccupied staff member to make it to the counter. Another staff member (who I suspect was the manager) had been slowly counting bills the entire time. It was otherwise empty. On another occasion the teller was unable to correctly count my change multiple times and was impolite the entire time. This is the same person I suspect is the manager. Terrible, inaccurate service. I'm closing my account soon.
