Zero tolerance: I scheduled my first time appointment last Saturday , by mistake I thought it was the next day , but it was on Monday , I call them early morning to reschedule by next day , unfortunately I have a to take my baby to the hospital and spend all day there , As a result , I forget to call them back , they call me of course but did not answer , I was not paying attention. So , I call today and explain the situation to reschedule and even when they never told me about “policies and terms” but they request a deposit for 149 usd for my 2 dogs that I paid , so today they told me in order to schedule an appointment I must paid again 149 usd as deposit , not even a fee , the total amount with any previous information.
I did not , I will no go to a location like this with my beauties and loved dogs. This is my personal opinion !

We absolutely LOVE the care we get at Blair Animal Clinic!! We actually moved across the greater Lafayette area and it’s very far from our house, but we continue to come to Blair Animal Clinic because of the AWESOME staff, technicians and veterinarians!!

I have taken my dog to Blair Animal Clinic since I got him about 4 years ago. They are an extremely caring team. We’ve seen most of the staff when I have brought him over the years. I have never once had a bad experience. When I first adopted my dog, he was extremely leery of men. The first employee that we interacted with one of the Vet Assistants named Jim. Jim instantly made my dog feel comfortable, immediately putting me more at ease. Then, the following year when I was in for my dog’s yearly visit, Jim was the Vet assistant that helped us again. After that check up, when Jim was walking me up to the counter to pay he stopped me and said “I just want to let you know that you are doing an amazing job taking care of Boss (my dog’s name).” And proceeded to list the differences that he saw in Boss, both physically and personality wise, from the year prior. I still, years later, am so impressed that he not only remembered us from one visit a year earlier but remembered Boss enough to be able to list differences. Since that point, every time I have brought Boss in, Jim and many of the other staff have stopped in just to say hello and give my dog some loving. It is abundantly clear, through these interactions, that every employee there cares deeply about the animals and owners that come through their doors and strives to go above and beyond. I cannot recommend Blair Animal Clinic enough.

I've taken my dog here from day one. All the staff are friendly, accommodating, and care for every animal walking in their door. Dr. Thayer and her assistant, Jim, are very personable and understanding. Whenever I call to schedule an appointment for an issue, they normally are able to squeeze me in the same day.

Do not take your dog here.I took my dog there.They misdiagnosed my dog,gave him the wrong medicine,thereby causing the death of my dog.They told me my dog had virus,but he actually had a fungas. The doctor gave him a strong antibiotic called Enroflaxin.Antibiotics don’t work on a fungal infection.He died 8 days later in my living room.They should have given him a culture in the beginning to reveal that it was a fungal,but did not give culture.All the old doctors are retired and they have young new vets that don’t know what they are doing and their protocol sucks.I have taken my dogs there for 15 years,but no more.
Different doctors and different procedures and protocols,lack of knowledge and concern and way to expensive.
