“Great location but they're ALWAYS out of diet Mountain Dew 2 litres. For some reason the Pepsi guy is too stupid to figure it out so he puts 3 times as much Mountain Dew as needed and half as much Diet Mountain Dew.”

“Came here for the first time and saw a young man helping put groceries in a customer’s car so I knew that I was in for a good experience. 10/10 customer service and a large variety of food and drink options adds to the experience. I expect to come here more often in the future.”

“Ken is such a joy to see when I walk in the door. He's always happy and helpful. Today when no one else was open due to the weather he was there with a smile on his face. He even carried my groceries to my car for me. We are fortunate to have his business right down the road from us. Keep up the great work Ken. We appreciate you!”

“It's one of my favorite UDF's. Has that classic udf feel, and it is a nice basic simple store. Even have a few staff members who are pleasant to talk to.”

“I drive past this marathon gas station quite frequently when going out to Brookville Indiana every time I drive by I think about stopping but I have not stopped in a while the last time I stopped and went inside very small selection of snacks and drinks but the workers are very nice and friendly. It is a quick way to get fuel and maybe a bag of chips and a soda and keep on trucking down the road it is literally right on the road. I did stop last week to put air in my tire. I pulled up to the air pump and I let all the air out of my tire and then filled it with that green slime tire repair. I put the needle back in and realized that the air pump required quarters which I have none. So I went inside and I accidentally had a dollar bill on me and exchanged it for 4/4. I’ll be honest with you if this was late in the evening or if I did not have cash on me there is no way I could use the air pump. I know it may be slightly more costly to add a credit card option to the air pump but I don’t make no never mind because if it’s late at night and my tire is flat and I have no quarters I will always have a credit card on me and I will spend three dollars $4 dollars $5 dollars whatever it takes to put air in my tire and keep on trucking down the road. I mean think about it if you had an opportunity to put air in your tire now or call AAA or some kind of tow truck company what would you do? I mean seriously I would pay five dollars for air right now in the middle of nowhere when I need air that’s all I’m saying I think that this gas station should seriously look at possibly upgrading the air compressor to except credit cards because there is no gas station nearby to fill up with air this is literally a lone island”

“Well I only switched to this cvs after being with another nearby extremely huge pharmacy chain for 14ish years.I’m quite the creature of habit...but I HAD to switch to CVS because My long time pharmacy did not have my absolutely necessary medication available in stock. Since it was a three day holiday weekend… They would not of had an essential medication available for me for three days?!I dropped my prescription off on a late Friday evening and they said they would not have even a few of my prescription available for me until Tuesday! ?It was a holiday weekend and I guess the pharmacy delivery stock place was not openover the holiday weekend.I can’t imagine A pharmacy stock businessis closed for a three day weekend but McDonald’s remains open!?Is a restaurant more essentialthen peoples medication? When I said to the tech“I will have serious health problems if I stop taking this medication out of the blue. What do I do? “ she just looked at me likeI was overreacting. ? It even says on the medication box… Do not stop taking this medicine without 1st speaking toyour physician.Anyway the old Pharmacy did not even offer to call their other locations for me. ?I went to CVS and before they even came to the counter to tell me they did not have my necessary medication… THEY hadALREADY called their other stores and told me which of their stores had the medication availableWhich I thought was great that Cvsthought A head of time and had a solutionfor me BEFORE creating a panic with me.I was already scared because I didn’t know what would happen to me if I stopped the med out of the blue.I’ve been going to CVS ever sincefor all my meds. They have one particular pharmacy techthat is my all time favorite. Her name is Taylor. She is an absolute doll baby.I don’t care how busy they are-how late or early it is-she ALWAYS remembers me andis so genuinely courteous...I just adore her! They ALWAYS have my prescriptions readyfor pickup. They also NEVER treat you likeyou are bothering them. And I love their special prices on their candy! lolI mean seriously ...can life get any better when you do not have to worry about not having enough mandatory necessary medication AND getting freshcandy on sale?! ? lol@myself again...They used to have the cutest pharmacist. She was a petite, long dark hair young woman. She is definitely perfect. So much so...I tried to fix her up with my only biological son lol.You can trust me on this...I’m an old school Italian mommy... I don’t fix him up with just anyone ? but that young woman is so super sweet and an amazing hard worker. I’d love to have her as my daughter in law and mommy to my grandchildren lolMy only complaint?I think I’m not the only person switching pharmacies because when I first started going to CVS a year ago … There was nevera line of customers. But lately the place is packed.Their corporate needs to hire more cashiers and pharmacists because I guess the other popular Pharmacy is losing a lot of business to CVS and they need to have more employees. But… I am certainly not complaining at all.The extra 2-3 minutes you have to waitis WELL worth the few minutes when you aregreeted kindly and with a smile. And your necessary medications are always in stock BTW...it’s not like the cvs employees are standing around chatting...they are working as quickly as possible. I used to drive right past cvs and you would seldom see a line of cars at their drive through...corporate probably just hasn’t noticed the huge increase in customers yet.Corporate better get a bunch of new employees because I’ve been telling everyone around my neighborhood how awesome CVS pharmacy is… So I expect they are only going to get busier and busier because of their perfect servicelol @ myself againKeep up the good work CBS!I’m SO VERY glad I switched!!!”

“We stop here usually just to purchase scratch-offs on our way to Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg. Hoping to hit it big before going to the casino. They usually have a good variety of scratch-offs. We will grab snacks occasionally. The customer service has always been good on all of our visits.”

“Staff has always been very friendly and accommodating. Been visiting this establishment for over 5yrs and it's always a pleasant experience shopping here. I have to admit some of the groceries are a little on the expensive side but the staff is top notch. The food they serve is also worth experiencing!! Pizza/hoagies/appetizers you name it they got it pretty much anything Italian”

“They have a kerosene pump for heating fuel and such. Hard to find this info when you search online for some reason? Not usually listed in googles information. Anyways I called, they confirmed. Pump #13. It's January 22.”

“I love the 79 cents polar pop drinks expect when it was out of order, but that’s okay I love quite close to this gas station and enjoy walking to it with friends to get a 79 cent drink. Makes me super happy and well thirsted. Best gas station ever wont choose another. Employees nice!”

“The gentleman pharmacist named Aaron and the service guy named Marshall were both so very nice and helpful when I called to check on a Walker for my Mother. Our family has shopped here for many years and will continue to do so because of helpful employees such as these.”

“I stopped in to use the photo machine to print pictures off my phone. The guy in Photo had to help me several times. This Grandma is no electronic wizard. He was kind and attentive. I was able to pay immediately after my photos printed.I also left with a box of HOSTESS Cinnamon Cakes. My impulse purchase. This Walgreens is always clean. The clerks are attentive. This is a standalone building with plenty of parking. A drive thru Pharmacy.5 Stars for this location.”

“I've read some of the reviews and personally, I've had a good experience in the 4 years I've lived near this gas station. Everyone's been polite but I don't expect hand holding and door greeting. Most of the complaints are just plain petty. This is a gas station, folks, not a 5 star resort. You want someone to coddle you, call your mom. Technology isn't fool-proof- card readers break. Stores run out of things- deliveries aren't always on time. The people who work here have enough to do without being expected to clean up after you in the bathroom or otherwise, so act like an adult and don't contribute to creating the nastiness you're so quick to gripe about.”

“The whole store is always clean and well-stocked with nice staff. The pharmacist Randy is a true professional. He is always calm and helpful no matter how chaotic the day is.”

“I give this store a 5 star because I've been coming here since I was a kid.
The store was much smaller and it was there next to a small Regina Bakery and small Empress Chili.
That being said, I REALLY WISH there were more Soft Pretzels being made. The clerk said they make only 4, at 11:30 am. I'm usually there about 12-2pm. They're gone. One day the clerk told me the other clerk eats them...I don't know that for truth...
Also, they don't make the Soft Pretzels on Sundays!!!! WHAAT?? OR any other hot package sandwiches.
Sundays are busy !! It's soo disappointing when you realize it's Sunday when you're looking at the "hot air" shelf and it's empty !
I think Numerous people would Love more Soft Pretzels, but they just don't speak up...
Thanks,
A loyal customer
UPDATE SEPT.28, 2024. SATURDAY
At about 12 noon, I went in to get a couple Hot Pretzels. There were 2 younger guys as clerks. There were NO Pretzels at all. I asked about them and the one guy said "Our Boss said to Not make any Pretzels today" I think that was a lie. He also said it would take "4 hours to defrost them" So, he said he wouldn't make some for me. I know he lied about that. Someone really needs to look into this disregard for customers.

PS. Not a fan of the new brand of ice cream. I forget the name, but I'll never buy it. Best ice cream is the good Ole UDF Brand...then Homemade.
Thanks”

“Steven is an exemplary person and the type of employee you can't find these days. My toddler got sick all over the lobby and main area of the store. I took her outside to clean her up and went in to ask to clean up. Not only would he not let me, he genuinely was not put off by it. It wasn't because of duty, which is so much more than anyone could ask - but in my embarrassment, he really had 0 reflection of being put off by it. He assured me that he has to get used to it anyway, as he's about to be a father. This sort of character is commendable.”

“I cannot tell you how thrilled people in the Bright/Hidden Valley Lake area are to finally have a clean, fresh brightly lit place to buy household necessities, quick food, ice cream, donuts and get reasonably priced gasoline in a very family friendly atmosphere. Of course there will be someone who doesn't care for it...there is always someone. But almost everyone my wife and I have spoken to, love having this UDF with the FRIENDLY staff they have, HERE! UDF in Bright is like a breath of fresh air! And their ice cream ain't so bad either!”
