We just recently closed on our first home, and we went through GAB to get our home loan. Clint was more than helpful ever in helping us decide on what loan was the best for my boyfriend and I. We met several times, and he kept in close contact with us and our sellers to make sure our loan process went smoothly! He explained everything very thoroughly, and always asked us before making any changes! We are more than happy to have purchased our home through GAB!! This has been the WORST bank to get a home loan through. They made my first time home owner experience a nightmare. They would tell me one thing and then turn around and tell me something different. Lots of empty promises just to keep my business. They didn’t give us all the information on closing details and cost me even more money. AND I just got a cancellation notice on my insurance because they didn’t pay my insurance that was set up in escrow! This bank in nothing but a joke and I don’t recommend them to ANYONE.

I went into this branch around 9:15 AM on 2/11/19. I was wanting to exchange a bag of coins that I had stashed away and start a college savings account for my son. I lugged this ~30lb bag of coins into the bank, spoke to one of the 3 tellers (she was an older woman, wish I remembered her name), and gave her the money. She sat in the back room for a couple minutes just looking in the bag, then ASKED ME TO COME BEHIND THE COUNTER.. She said my coins were 'dirty' and that I needed to 'go clean them' and come back without her ever even attempting to put any of them into the coin counter at all. She then stated that if any if them were still dirty when I came back, she would 'throw them away, because it will gum up my machine and it's not worth my time'. I left and went to another bank that was more than capable of counting ALL of my coins and getting me a savings account started in less than 15 minutes. I would suggest this location update its machinery and adjust the staff, because clearly some of them are on some sort of power trip. I felt like this woman was treating me like a peasant just because I had a bunch of coins. Her attitude was off-putting and arrogant from the moment she saw what I had in the bag. Less than an hour after opening this woman was already in a bad mood. I am choosing to believe that her actions are not a direct reflection of this financial institution as a whole, but this particular employee definitely resulted in the loss of a potential customer. I didn't react at the time but if these reviews actually mean something, I hope she is reprimanded.
