This DG is going down hill fast! Although I’m grateful it’s in Wanatah. The staff is smoking right outside the door when customers walk in. A poor lady had a mask on and she had to pass smoke as she walks in and out. . I walked in and the front office when checking out it’s a blast of cigarette smoke. They are always short staffed and today nothing hardly on the shelves. Come on DG where’s the management and headquarters for this store.

Had a good experience here tonight. Went for balloons with helium and they were very helpful. Cashier was very helpful. Young man with TCU Hoodie. Was able to help with balloons and snacks at checkout. First time I've enjoyed a dollar general in years.Cashier was working until 4pm onNovember 7th. Just wanted to say how helpful both employees were.

Love my Peeps at Dollar General, Wanatah. Doug the Manager is a hard worker!! Corporate really needs to hire midnight stockers. If they run out of a product it takes too long to restock on shelf. Need stockers!!!!!!!!!! If they hired people to just come in and stock, the floors would remain clear. This is with regard to ALL Dollar General stores. Corporate needs to slow down on opening more stores and focus on helping their current employees keep up on the constant overwhelming of their tiny storerooms. Update: 8/5/2022. Man oh man..since Doug and his crew left it has turned into a "hole in the wall" store. Nobody works at all. They just walk around looking busy and texting on their phones. What a disgrace!! It's surprising to me that the Fire Marshall hadn't made an appearance. The poor handicapped and elderly people cant find anything or get around without bumping their carts into cardboard boxes or lucky if anyone can get down the isles without knocking so many displays over. You should have paid Doug MORE and treated him better! What a loss it was letting him take another job. You should have fought for him. The crew you have now, outside of Joann, is useless.

Store has gone down hill the last 2 years.Its messy from front to back.This week it takes till Friday to get coke zero that is in there adthat started Sunday.They have a stocking problem and probably need a night crew to just stock.The milk has a after taste that I never tasted in my 68 years.Its awful.Out of stocks every where.
