Since Flagstar updated in February I have not been able to log in or activate my account. I have called many times for help and they tell me I will receive an email. Haven't received one yet. I even went to the bank and talked with someone and was supposed to get e-mails back . None We have been with Wells Fargo for almost 50 years never had a problem til Flagstar took over. Thinking about closing account if I can't get into my own account.

I have always felt secure and taken care of at Flagstar and have no complaints.

Everything with this bank is harder to do than it should be. Also in trying to setup online banking for a business account I've been asked multiple times to submit a form with my social security number to them via email. You should never transfer any sensitive information through regular email. Encrypted email would be different but that's not typical. I miss Wells Fargo.

Worst. Bank. Ever. Rude staff at branch. Rude staff over the phone. I've had numerous issues that I shouldn't have had. Please don't bank here. And I love how the owner is only responding to positive reviews and not negative. Very professional ?

I banked with Wells Fargo since 2011 until Flagstar took over and forced my account from Wells Fargo to Flagstar a year ago without me wanting to switch. I tried to stick with it and hoped things would be better or similar to the way they were. I’m now being charged major overdraft fees for ridiculous reasons such as a mobile deposit that they previously accepted and attempted that same type of mobile deposit again with a money order and they denied it returned it and tacked on a return fee of $36. They are not fair I’ve banked better places and am canceling my account now as they are tacking one daily fees and I can’t get it caught back up for the life of me at the moment. Worst bank ever.

A garbage bank. All they do is rip people off. They screwed me over for almost $200.

I was on my mother's account, to help her with her finances. She passed away last November, in December I emptied her accounts and closed them. Or at least I though I had. That's what they told me was done. Turns out they didn't close the account and left $10 in it. They then began charging maintenance fees to the account, and then overdraft fees, and inactivity fees. Until the closed the account out for lack of payment and sent it to collections. So now they want to charge me $180. And I've been going around and around with then for several days and they keep giving me the running around. Very unprofessional.

Awful place to bank. Extremely unhelpful and unwilling to cooperate to help customers navigate their ridiculous system and charge insane overdraft fees after making your money completely inaccessible. Glad they are leaving the state, good riddance.

Called to check on My mom's account for her as she heard that the Wabash Wells Fargo was turning into Flagstar, banker who answered was not helpful, rude and quite sarcastic over the phone. She was so snidely and condescending I ended up hanging up on her and calling my local wells Fargo in NC to find out her account was still with them and was not affected by the acquisition...thankfully because based on that one conversation I would NEVER want to nor would my mother want to bank with such rude, hateful people.

My wife had an account with Wells Fargo and our local bank was one that was acquired by Flagstar. What a joke. Cannot check balance, no customer support whatsoever. She will be switching to another bank.
