The volunteers were very nice and sweet to my baby dog. However the spay procedure was terrible. They let me take her home actively bleeding. They including the doctor saw her bleeding and still let her come home. After 2-3 hours of continuous bleeding I was able to get in touch with my own vetAnd was advise to continue to apply pressure and wrap gauze around her body to help with the pressure ( I already) when it slowed up I saw an area that he didn’t stitchPlease check your pets incisions to make sure it’s all stitched and not bleeding before leaving

The Knox County Humane Society is amazing. They are all volunteers and give so much of their time and love to this mission. Spay Neuters are their main focus. Helping people get their animals fixed at a low cost and also helping the community cats at no charge to help keep the population loose go down!!

The ladies at the humane society are the greatest ever! They have plenty of cats that can be adopted and would be a great addition to anyone's family!
