“This store is in a lot better shape than most dollar general stores. Not as many hazards (still some) in the aisle but nothing is shelved nicely. It’s all just thrown around. I’m assuming they don’t have the help they need. Also they removed self scan so there are longer lines again.”
“Great location. Very valuable resource for the community. This a very rural area and the closest grocery store is 30 minutes one way. Well rounded and stocked store minus fresh produce. It’s kind of a small grocery store. Clean and neat and friendly staff. What would make it better? Have a small produce section @ pre-bagged salads..onions…potatoes and such nothing major. Some Dollar General’s have fresh produce and they are much closer in proximity to grocery stores. It’s an untapped/lost revenue for Dollar General. I have found if I need a little produce I drive right passed the Cross Plains location and straight to Versailles to a grocery store that does sell produce. They should at least test it and see if it moves. I have a hunch it would be well received. For that reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5.”

“Prices were higher when I got to the checkout. Shelf said 14.00 got charged 20.00 not the first time this has happened.i won't be shopping at dollar general again.”

“A lot cleaner than Dollar General. The cashiers here are very nice and patient. And they have a lot nicer stock to boot. This is the better of the two Versailles dollar stores by a long shot.”
