It's never open. I'm not even sure it's part of USPS anymore. I would just go to another one.

They are not accountable at this location for opening or reopening when schedule to open. Also I had a lost forever package shipped from here. Too bad as USPS is usually great.Right now I'm waiting 20 + minutes and they did not yet open after the lunch break . Supposed to open at 1pm.

Very frequently closed with a sign that says "sorry for the inconvenience". Might as well just shut the place down if you aren't going to be open ever, or at least update your hours online so don't people don't waste their time.

Sign on the door says it is closed. No reason or indication that it will ever provide service again. The hours here were always unpredictable and limited. But the clerk there was always wonderful.

The lobby is supposed to be open on Saturdays- it has been closed for at least SEVEN WEEKS!! I have a business mailbox here and am not able to get my mail because the doors have been locked. This was not a problem in July. I have obligations during the week and Saturdays work for me to pick up. I am locked in, advance paid, with this address and I am DISAPPOINTED. There are mailboxes available at two retail places: one down the street, and another around the building on the other side. They keep their operation hours, what is the problem with the Colonnade 200 South 3rd Street USPS office?

The teller was super helpful!! The best place to visit in SJ downtown for sending out mails.

Great place to get packages out to my son, I'm in and out in no time. The guy who is normally here is really nice, quick and efficient about ready to retire. He speaks clearly and not at me, but with me so that's always good. I need my stuff at least to arrive to my son's destination. In these interesting times packages are consistently late. I am glad to have this USPS around! _Enso +- La Lune Sucree nearby. Stationary. Double doors. Friendly. _Going forward ho!

This is literally my favorite USPS to go to, in the South Bay. Alfonso is usually the one working at the counter; he always greets each person with a smiling face and amazing customer service. He always answers all of my questions, no matter how many times I've already asked before and forgotten the answer. He also is the only employee that works here, that I've encountered, that knows how to put all of my transactions onto (1) receipt; anyone else that I've ended up encountering, at the times Alfonso isn't here, I end up walking away with a few receipts. Don't forget this USPS is closed for lunch Monday - Friday from 12:00 PM (Noon) to 2 PM. They're not opened on Saturdays (COVID-19). Social Distancing is enforced. You must have a mask to enter.

Great customer service. The person working there walked me through the process since it was my first time using priority mail.

Reminded why USPS offices have such a bad reputation. Woman working today had such an attitude. Was so annoyed to have to do her job.

The most convenient location with the absolute worst customer service. From now on I will only be going to the 5th street post office. Every time I go to the 3rd street post office I immediately regret it due to the (only) workers poor attitude. Hope she learns friendliness in 2020

Absolutely NOT recommended. This gentleman working there intentionally gave me the wrong instructions about doing a return label for my box, watched me pack, then told me I did it wrong. Just to get the pleasure to see I was embarrassed. So so sad.

Make sure you show up with some time on your hands because there's only one person who works there. Usually it's the nice, pleasant man named Alfonso. Also, keep in mind that this USPS now closes at 4 pm on weekdays.

I have had nothing but miserable service from a lady that works in this office. She is so unwilling to help. The other cashiers are perfectly pleasant but this one lady is there every day. If you are mailing out packages and have questions about it, save yourself the irritation and go to the main office in Washington Avenue. Every cashier there is actually nice and trying to help!

The old filipino lady with the glasses is beyond rude. Every single time I go here she is always making rude remarks, constantly yelling at people in the lobby from her desk; it's just unnecessary. If you you even complain slightly about their inadequate service she will attack you with all kinds of low ball remarks & try to make you feel bad for even bringing it up. She needs to be retrained in customer service because she is totally unprofessional; not to mention sad & pathetic.
