Service for Internet and equipment exchange is adjusted at this location. If you are already an Xfinity mobile customer, it is not possible to upgrade phones at this location unless you pay full price. Any Xfinity phone promotions are not available at the Valpo store. We learned this after spending over 90 minutes in line. This store does not support Xfinity Business accounts either. We spent less than 5 minutes at the counter with a rep that was unable to help with any of our questions. I hope this review serves as a warning to others tempted to waste time in line in Valpo. Very poor customer service.

Staff is friendly and helpful. I had an issue with my first wifi router and I was able to get it replaced in less than 5 minutes. Quickest trip!

Good luck with comcast! If you want new service you can talk to somebody that speaks English in a minute. If you have a problem with your bill it takes 45 minutes for a call back and you get your socks to somebody that can't speak English!!

This is not a corporate store, but a regional one. This means that you can only get customer service if you are in their region. Nothing online says that they can't access accounts outside of their region. I should be able to go into any Xfinity store in the country and be helped. The owner chooses not to be linked with corporate to the customer's detriment.I have noticed since I have gotten phone and internet through Xfinity, every part of the process has been problematic and painful. Coming to this office that isn't even corporate is just one more issue in a long list of them. If you have to go to a store in the region, hit up Merrillville as it is corporate. Past that, it probably isn't good either given it's Xfinity.Edit to respond to owner: I said what I needed to say here in the post; not being a corporate store wasted my time. Your employees did just fine, and we don't need to have any further conversation. If Xfinity corporate wants to remain in the mobile phone game, they might want to make sure issues like company alignment don't inadvertently cost the customer. I rather not be a part of your growing pains.

3 years ive been with xfinity. Went to get a new phone. Just had surgury yesterday and drove 40 minutes. The calls are never directly to the store only to customer service who does not understand you majority of the time. I had cash to pay in full for a fold 5. Was told they don't take cash payments. Almost $2,000 and it has to be ordered. I'm changing providers for this reason. Never had I have had a problem with xfinity until I couldn't pay with cash. This is unfair to the customers in my eyes. No phones in stocks and only card payments I don't see a reason for this store to be open honestly

Mark was great! Answered all my questions. I even had to run home to grab my existing box and come back, he offered to assist me when I came back so I didn’t have to start over. Mark helped me save money each month by offering an alternative plan vs what I thought I wanted. I definitely had a better experience today than I planned on going in. Mark is a Rockstar!

Store looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months, constant stuff on the floor, products on shelves completely covered in dust and muck, go elsewhere.Used to be a clean place, no management, no training, awful customer service. Would give it a zero if I could!

I went in last Thursday to cancel my cable and to upgrade my internet to 1200Mpbs. Pretty easy transaction, you'd think. While it was, my experience with Mark was none too pleasant. He was very rude and seemed far more interested in whatever was on his phone than helping me. Do I not deserve the ten minutes of your time that it took to complete my order? He then had the audacity to pitch me mobile -- no thank you. However, I had to return the next day as I had been told to pick up a new modem. The gentleman that helped me, I believe his name was Nick, was very helpful seemed genuine in wanting to help me. He made the transaction painless and made jokes along the way which I enjoyed. I inquired about mobile. To which he explained in detail and gave me the upside to switching. Needless to say, I switched with him that day. To Make, I say this: be kinder to your customers.

This location has BY FAR THE BEST SERVICE HANDS DOWN!!! Nicole and Nick went above and beyond all expectations! I simply went in to inquire about a new phone and left not only with a new phone but also with accessories for a great price. Thank you all so much and I'll for sure be back!

Went to the Xfinity store in Valparaiso to return Cable equipment as I had cancelled my account 10 days ago. The young man behind the counter didn’t even look at the equipment, just proceeded to pull up my account. Said it wasn’t cancelled, so he cancelled it and printed me out a receipt. Receipt showed that he cancelled and returned my Business Internet equipment. I did not return a modem, I returned 3 cable boxes. But he didn’t bother to check in the box I handed him to verify anything. He felt he was getting me in and out quickly, I guess. So, he then stated he isn’t capable of making changes to the business side of Xfinity/Comcast, so it should be fine. Gave me a card for the account executive of NWI in case I needed anything. I called him immediately and he stated the same. The store cannot access or make changes to the business side of Comcast/Xfinity. Drive home, not convinced, only to find out I have no internet. Had to then call Business Comcast and they are still working on getting me reconnected 15 hrs later. When you have employees that don’t care, are lazy, and don’t understand what they are doing; you cost people time and money. I run a company. I need to be able to connect to the internet to effectively run my business. I have never left a negative review. I feel that if enough people speak out maybe someone will hear. There are many one-star reviews on here. The complacency of those young people in the store has caused me undue stress. One employee sitting in the store never got up to help me when someone else was being waited on. Was she on break? Go in the back! Another employee walking around complaining of no air conditioning. Can you help a customer?? My suggestion is to retrain, advise, and monitor your staff to have a business that people can trust. Xfinity is NOT the only game in town. Slingtv-free. Just saying.
