“Sunset Hill is a remarkable multipurpose park where you can walk in the woods, prairie, sunflower fields, a farm setting with animals, a natural science facility, science building, Illiana railroad station, Christmas light display that is a multi state attraction every year. There are miles of walking trails, a historic power association event each year where you can see a steam powered sawmill, live music, food vendors and crafts, flee market, a display of antique tractors and other farm machinery that ends the weekend with a parade. Any day of the year is the perfect day to visit Sunset Hill Park. This park gets my highest recommendation in Indiana. They have something for every person, young or old, mobile or not. This is a perfect venue for special needs people as there is so much space and never is crowded or loud. Sunset Hill Park, thank you for being a shining example of the beauty found in Valparaiso and Indiana.”

“Me and my husband just got married here on January 6, 2024!!! It was such a fun night! We had the ceremony and reception there so guests wouldn’t have to drive far and what not. It’s crazy how much they have to offer they truly are a one stop shop… especially now that they are also selling wedding dresses! Our coordinator was Renee and she was the best! Planned everything down to a T. They really know what they’re doing there! She guided me and Tyler through the day so we truly got to enjoy the party! It was the best day ever for us and one we will never forgot… and Aberdeen Manor is all to blame lol!”

“Such a nice, intimate space! Everyone was very welcoming and friendly and the food is delicious. There was live music to enjoy while you visit. I also loved that they sell so many sauces and dressings and little souvenirs. I truly enjoyed my visit!”

“It is so sad that people are not appreciative with the cinemas that much anymore I remember when we had to make a long line in order to see a movie. But with all this social media going on families don't enjoy that much time together anymore. I am happy that I can still go once in a while to CINEMARK AND SEE A MOVIE THAT I LIKE . “The Greenhouse at Zao Island was one of many venues that my wife and I were interested in while planning our wedding. We are so glad we went with this venue. Lauren, the coordinator that we had the pleasure of working with, was incredibly understanding of our every need and went above and beyond to execute our perfect day to a tee. Lauren was there for us every step of the way. The building itself is very spacious and comfortable yet simple and offers so many possibilities for decorating. The doors and windows allow for an abundance of natural light which is perfect for photography. We were able to utilize the new up lighting inside so once the sun had set the lights really gave the venue a very cool glow. Our guests also enjoyed the theme park throughout the night which made our wedding reception so unique and memorable. This place is awesome!”
