I thought it was friendly, no hassle browsing and dealing!
And now -- TWO WEEKS after I purchased the car -- WITHOUT GETTING CHECKED BY A MECHANIC -- PLEASE DO THIS FIRST!!! -- I just was quoted $4,000 worth of repairs it needs!!!!! I took it to get the A/C fixed, which I knew was blowing warm air at the time of sale, but there's an EXTENSIVE LEAK of power steering fluid all over the underneath with $900+ needed to replace the power steering pump -- AND has a leaky boot in the rack and pinion that will cost 3x that to fix! At the sale, they said it had been "serviced," INCLUDING the a/c that was mysteriously blowing warm air!! No wonder they didn't hassle me...didn't want to let me know how badly they needed to get rid of it!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
And then my other half called Nick, the owner, who talked in circles about how he doesn't do the service work, blames the servicing shop -- both his AND the one we took our car to -- and asks what I want him to do? TWICE I masked for $1,000 to pay the shop to fix the power steering pump and leak. He -- again -- went round and round -- called the shop that serviced it and had my other half call the mechanics who serviced it FOR HIM -- with so many points inspection, because I was so furious with all this BS -- that I couldn't talk to them. They just go around and around about it like Mr. Nick and never does anything except blames the service where my car is at now and could I get it SERVICED by them AGAIN?? HA! NEVERRR!! They have a nice system of blaming each other, frustrating the customer, and nothing happens in the end but A LOT OF TALK! Shameful!!!!

The salespeople intentionally let you look around at the cars without bothering you. I LOVE that! Once you're done looking, you walk in the door and they're right there to help you. We bought a car here and there was no pressure. They even fixed the issues that we brought to their attention (new brakes, new battery and new brakes) at no additional cost! We will be checking them out again the next time we are shopping for a car.

Needed a new work car fast (my old one wasn’t going to make it another day). Approved for financing real quick, because of my work hours I wasn’t able to make it in to almost closing time, they stay late for me to complete my purchase.
After having my car for a few day I started to experience a small mechanical issue, Nick did not hesitate to have me take it to his mechanic, even though I did not purchase a warranty, the mechanic then had the issue fixed with one day and Nick covered 100 percent of the expense, even though he wasn’t obligated to do so.
The team at Valpo Car Company is exceptional and they stand behind every vehicle on the lot. Valpo Car Company will definitely be my first stop when it comes time for my next vehicle.

Valpo car co. Is great. I had I specific truck that I wanted and they had no problem with finding it for me. They worked with how picky I was until I got exactly what I wanted. Also for the price I wanted to pay. Great service! Great people! Thanks again.

I had a great experience with Nick and his business. Recently, my parents needed to purchase a second vehicle and we chose one that Nick had recently put on the lot. I took the time to speak to the mechanic that Nick uses to recondition his vehicles before I purchased the vehicle to avoid any surprises. I was assured that the vehicle was in great condition and that was later confirmed by another mechanic. I greatly appreciate that the cars are inspected and reconditioned before they are put on the lot for sale. Finding a used car can be scary in today’s market, but Nick certainly made it much easier. I will recommend this dealer to anyone I know looking to buy or sell a car.

BRING A MECHANIC TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE!!!! They sold me a car with SEVERAL ISSUES. I have put over $5,000 in the past 6 months alone which is absolutely ridiculous. I would highly recommend against shopping here. They will take advantage of you.

Just bought my 17 yr. old daughter her 1st car from here.
