AMAZING. We called Lake Station they couldn't get an emergency in for two weeks. That doesn't help and not the first time we've been turned away and sent to Coyne which is super expensive. Not this time we called Valparaiso. No emergency charge, no new customer charge. Seen us within the hour. Treated us and Storm like family. Needless to say we are bringing all four of our dogs here from now on.

My dogs love Dr. Butler at Valparaiso animal hospital! She is the only one I trust with my pups. I have one with severe anxiety with people and her first visit Dr. Butler was so patient and sat on the floor waiting for her to come up to her first. It was amazing to see a vet being so patient and do things on my girl's time. I laugh all the time and say they get sick or injured on purpose to see their best friend haha. Dr. Butler has made every single one of their vet appointments a positive one.

Dr. Butler and her staff make our dog feel like he is the most important guy in the world. They are so loving and knowleable! We wouldn't go anywhere else.

They are very nice and accommodating. I was very glad to see them turn that building into a nice animal hospital. I have moved all my vet needs to Valparaiso animal hospital from McAfee. I was with McAfee for over 20 years and my last 3 experiences there have been terrible.☆☆☆☆☆ to VAH

From the get-go, my service with Valparaiso Animal Hospital has been phenomenal. I called to schedule an appointment for my husky, they got her in the very next day. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with an abundance of kindness from all the staff. Katie (I think) was our vet tech. She was personable, informative, and professional. We were in and out of there within an hour! Thank you so much Valparaiso Animal Hospital!!!!

After being a customer for 8 years, I am done bringing my pets to this business. The customer service has done a complete 180 and not for the better. As someone in finance, I understand the business strategy of requiring deposits at the time of booking. However when a clerical error occurs and is the reason that an appointment is missed, there is no taking accountability for their mistake and the customer is just supposed to eat the booking fee. For years I have driven over an hour to bring 6 pets to this veterinarian hospital. I have spent thousands on primary care, surgeries and treatment for illnesses. Very sad to see a business that I once praised highly change this significantly.

I have known of Dr. Jill Butler for 20+ years, since she was an ER vet. She has always been compassionate with my pets and explains everything to me in a way that I can understand. She often gives me treatment options and a chance for me to decide what I want to do with no pressure. Wish she was my doctor!
