The store has many years of success and when you visit, you will know why it is such a fun place to explore. They have so many top brands purses and shoes pants jeans business casual cocktail dresses furs it has a variety of a full-blown department store. Environment is lovely. The owner is awesome hands-down a must visit

Summer 2023 after reading the requirements for consignment review on the website “pressed and on hangers” I took my time to press quite a few items only to be immediately turned away saying they were no longer accepting anything due to the store closing. I asked if this information was anywhere on the website, perhaps I overlooked it. As far as I saw on the website, they were still accepting items. I was told some correspondence went out, then she winked at me. I left frustrated that I spent so much time preparing my items in vain. Furthermore, several months later I see they are still open which I’m glad they are, but I can’t help but feel the lady was dishonest with me and just didn’t want to deal with me.

I live in Chicago and always stop here when I return to valpo. As good as or better than Lincoln Park upscale consignment stores in my opinion. Great selection, wonderful layout, fabulous accessories and bags and excellent shoe selection! Five stars! Closet Exchange is better even than many retail stores I have been to - do not hesitate to stop in!! Five stars!

Extremely impressed with the store! I can't believe I have waited so long to visit. I normally buy secondhand at places like Goodwill and local church thrift stores, but decided to give this a try on the advice of a friend. So glad that I did! Very clean store and items, very organized. Great selection and decent prices. Can't wait to return.

Biggest scam ever and rude employees that yell at people with no discretion. Instant attitude when I asked for my $9.00 profit for forty upscale items. Asked for my merchandise and lady starts yelling that it’s all gone. Check the clearance items she yells. I found three items there and found another six items at another rack that wasn’t on clearance. I’m out thirty items that they probably made hundreds. The loud mouth that works there should be fired.
