Funny story on the phone with T-Mobile support apparently this new update has to use Wi-Fi I'm out of town and don't have T-Mobile in my geographic location I walk into the store because I was advised by T-Mobile to go to the store to use Wi-Fi walking to the store ask the girl if I could use her Wi-Fi to download this new Android update she tells me we don't have Wi-Fi I'm thinking to myself well how do you sell phones they'll lie to me they'll lie to you just remember thatThen she proceeds to tell me go to the Starbucks or somewhere where they have Wi-Fi and download I said wouldn't that be a security problem how do I know I'm connecting to Starbucks she said because it says it on their Wi-Fi security is a joke here no wonder they're getting hacked onI just wanted a secure place to download my operating system software service provider won't allow it to go over mobile data not sure why

Kinda upset I can’t leave 0 stars. But talked to people on 611 about my phone having issues a few days ago so they sent me a new one to the store. The lady refused to give it to my mom - I then had to go after work and waste more time for my mom to come ALL the way back out there so she could give me the phone. I then was told on the phone I wouldn’t owe anything. She then charges me $6 and doesn’t give me my phone charger. I had the option to get the phone delivered to my house but I figured this would be easier and it in fact was not. I was questioned on why I needed the new phone when apple and 611 already got the diagnostics off my phone stating it was a $500-$700 repair. Once my phones paid off me and my family are going elsewhere. I’m very upset and will be telling EVERYONE I know to switch to AT&T.

My Uncle is elderly and I was adding him to my plan. I was able to speak to one of the two men helping my uncle to ensure we got exactly as we wanted. Unfortunately I can not remmeber their names, but the 10am shift today Saturday, 08/26/2023 are amazing. I live in Texas and was not present, but my Uncle got what was needed, at the prices expected, quickly, and with friendly help. They set him up completely and even transfered his old phone stuff to his new one.Thank you two gentleman!

The first disappointment is that I can not leave zero stars. I have been with one and only one phone carrier for more than 20 years. The first and only time I have lost my phone I was given the most ridiculous run around by this store and corporate. They milked me out of $1200, and an entire day of headaches. I ultimately left without a phone, purchased a cheap Walmart phone, filed a claim for the lost phone (another $250), and waited several days for that phone to arrive. I have yet to receive the requested $608 refund for unnecessarily paying off my old phone as that was just one lie I was told in store “in order to get a replacement phone”. Do not go to this location, do not use this carrier. They will gladly take your money for years and when you have an actual situation, have YOU jumping through hoops for them with no resolution..

Tyler was fantastic! I dreaded having to upgrade our phones because every other experience had been terrible, but Tyler was the complete opposite of my previous experiences. Tyler was knowledgeable, patient, and not pushy at all. The whole team that was there all seemed to have the same approach. Kudos to the great staff and the manager that hired them.

The manager here is very professional and he's extremely helpful. This is a place you feel like a person not a number. Staff is also knowledgeable and if they cant figure it out they ask. I had AT &T for almost 30 years and I am glad i came to this particular store..

The manager (owner) is an impolite guy. He try to deceive customer. Because of his behavior I transfered my line to boost mobile.

Madison and coworker Tyler very, very helpful. Such a breath of fresh air to drop Verizon and their crazy staff. Mature business employees. No seating though is hard on us seniors. Great phone service too.

I’ve bought three phones here and each time they’ve added insurance days later that I declined at the time of sale. I have to call t-mobile and have it canceled. Unfortunately there isn’t another store nearby so I’m forced to go here.

First of all, understand that this is not a "T-Mobile Store", not in any way that would be indicated by T-Mobile support. No, this is an "authorized retailer" for T-Mobile, and is not owned by the company. This was relevant on my recent visit because they refused to do an exchange with my recently purchased phone. The phone was ordered off of T-Mobile's official website, and their website indicates that phones ordered on the website can be returned to any "T-Mobile Store", which this store is not.I just activated a line with this store a month ago (and upgraded to the Magenta MAX plan, top of the line), I expected better service. There is no reason why the store cannot exchange phones ordered online, this store just refuses to do so because it can (and T-Mobile apparently lets them get away with this awful service). So after the associate told me they couldn't do the exchange, I decided to swap out my phone and handle the exchange myself with T-Mobile. We did a "second upgrade" (so now two phones on my account that I'm paying for unnecessarily) and had good help from the associate, and I left happy (but significantly more broke than I came in expecting).Today, I just got a notification that "Protection 360" was added to my account, I assume by the associate. I did not ask for this service, and nor was it shown on any receipt the associate gave me. They snuck it in. In short, if you can manage getting support at another store, I'd recommend you do so. The closest corporate location is in Merrillville, however, and I feel the owner of this shop takes advantage of that fact.

Associates snuck in services without informing you about it. They provide you wrong information that does not match with terms of Tmobile as carrier. We were fooled with trade in terms and were told to send old phone back to them for evaluation, when they already applied trade in amount as $40 without providing this information to us. Representative also told us that trade in is like a gamble for they don't know how your old phone will be evaluated ( leave alone they already posted $40), however you will not get your device back. Plus it's so confusing when it comes to transition from Sprint to Tmobile, for they tell you it might take up to 5 days until transition will be complete, howeverit was not.. Just a mess, stay away. We are leaving Tmobile to Verizon, where terms and conditions are clear and to the point.

Went into the store and needed help trying to get an upgrade for my old phone and I couldn’t get it on the app on my phone and I couldn’t get it to work with my card. So went in and talked to Tyler who helped me out at the Valparaiso Store so that he can get me my new upgraded phone he was really understanding about everything he was really friendly and I really appreciated his service.
