My nephew needed work done on his car. Because he helps me care for my Dad, I needed to feel confident that his car would be repaired correctly and in a timely manner. I was referred to MTI in Valpo by a friend and was very pleased with the entire process. I appreciated Matt’s clear communication about pricing and when to expect the car to be ready. I would definitely recommend MTI Valpo to anyone needing car repairs.

Matt & Crew are always so helpful. Matt always makes it a point to assure me that my car’s issues are nothing I created, which I think is nice. I feel no pressure, as I female with no knowledge of cars, I feel secure I’m not being played for profit’s sake. Appreciate the Courier service, that is a tremendous help. 10/10 would recommend this Shop.

My mom takes her car there and I was in town this last time, they didn't go crazy on over pricing, fixed the issues she was having that needed fixed to get her emissions test done which she addressed to Keith so he took it to get tested once he was done.

MTI is my #1 choice for all my mechanical work. I’ve been going here for over 5 years and my family has began bringing their vehicles as well. Matt is fantastic at explaining the options available for each repair and is always honest about what the outcome may be.

Came in due to flat tire, they discovered that the other 3 had dry rotted and replaced all 4 in a timely manner along with an axle realignment. Saved me a lot of trouble down the road!

Matt was awesome. He worked with me to helo get my car fixed asap! Got my car fixed in a timely manner. Corrected the problem and got my check engine light off. Reccomend to anyone looking to get work done on their car. An honest and trustworthy team here at MTI.

DO NOT GO HERE. They are dishonest and will just try to take your money. They are liars.
I took my car in for a warranty repair. They kept my car there for almost 4 weeks and lied to me about what they were doing.
They claimed that they removed my tranmission and put it back in. They were going to charge me for the teardown, but I have a GPS tracker in my car that tells me the cars location, the battery voltage, when the key has been inserted into the ignition. My car had not been moved since I brought it in. I showed them that, and they still decided to try and lie about it, Matt specifically, the loser with the beard.
They didn't charge me for the teardown because I had obviously caught them in a lie. They still charged me for a mediocre diagnosis. They did absolutely nothing. They didn't diagnose it or even drive it into their garage. It was parked on the side of their garage for weeks, but yet they were lying to me over the phone. I took my car back because these people seem completely incompetent and are liars. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!

I'm extremely happy with the service I recently received at MTI. I previously took my vehicle to another mechanic and they were unable to diagnose the issue causing the fan to run continuously. Matt, the service manager at MTI listened to me and gave me honest feedback on what he thought the problem could be. They were able to get my truck in for a diagnosis and repair within a day. I was informed about costs and recommendations throughout the process. I appreciated visiting a service center who didn't use high-pressure scare tactics to attempt to talk me into services the vehicle did not need. This was my first experience with MTI, but it won't be my last. I will definitely feel confident returning and referring my friends and family to this location.

I was out of state and my car has an issue. MTI investigated the issue. Called others to verify the problem and fixed the issue quickly and efficiently. They followed up even after I took the car home. I would recommend them highly. Great work.

Really great experience. They got my car in for a diagnostic the next day, diagnosed the problem within a few hours, called me and emailed me a very clear outline of the problem, how to fix it, and how much it would cost. I wanted to do some research and make sure that I wasn’t getting over charged. They were totally understanding and told me to just let them know. Their price seemed fair and comparable to other places. They got the work done early the next day and let me know promptly. Definitely would use this shop again.
