My child went here for about 6 months. They have zero tolerance for children with issues. My child has ADHD and the kicked him out. They told me my child had to change and gave him 2 weeks to change. YOU CAN'T CHANGE A CHILD WITH THESE ISSUES.I went back to wendy's learning tree. They love all their children even with issues. They will work with you and your children. I love all the workers there and know most by name and they have so many locations around Valparaiso. Where as little u has only one and rounds child up like cattle. If that's what you want by all means go here. If you want your children in a loving environment the look up wendy's learning tree.

Our girls have been attending Little U since March of 2021 and absolutely love it. I am happy with the correspondence and communication and I greatly appreciate their patience especially with my little's ones preschool anxiety. I have recommended Little U to a few friends and they have enrolled their children and been happy with Little U as well. Great place for kids.

The teachers are great and our son enjoys his class. We love all of the art work and projects he does as well. Our only issue is that the nutrition is not great. Snacks are always sweets or carbs (cookies, brownies, cupcakes and fig bars) and lunches are your typical highly processed fare with canned veg, fruit cocktail and juice. I am totally down with the occasional treat, but kids that young shouln't be eating like that every day. Our pediatrician asked to see the menu and was not impressed. Overall, as far as the actual childcare part goes, Little U is great.July 2021 update: the last few weeks the school has been trying harder to include fresh foods and healthier foods into its menu. I will update my review periodically to stay relevant.

This is an sad excuse for a daycare!!! For the past 2 months my niece gets picked up from her school by your daycare. She was not picked up yesterday, her life was put in danger cause of the lack of responsibility of your staff. Legal matter will be taken.

I can not say enough positive things about Little U. After working here since 2013, I have had learned so much about early childhood education and development. I have been able to grow and share my ideas in a welcoming and nurturing environment. I absolutely love coming to work everyday and be able to have a positive influence on young minds. I highly recommend Little U to anyone seeking early childhood education!

A huge THANK YOU goes out to Little U Academy! My son has grown so much and settled down a lot in the few short months we’ve had him there! This morning, after he spilled a container of little hair rubber bands, he said “It’s okay mom, it was an accident. I’m little so sometimes I do things on accident.” After cleaning it up with me, he spilled it again and said, “ That was just a mistake mom. I make mistakes too, but I’m learning.” All I could think in that moment was thank you, my sweet boy is back! We were on a bad path at Growing Kids and though it was tumultuous at first, I thank them too for taking that drastic, unwarranted step and kicking him out because they rid of us of a horrible teacher who had created a monster that no matter what we did at home, we couldn’t correct. It’s clear now... it wasn’t us! Our home is not filled with nearly as much yelling and crying and that’s a huge gift that we’ve received from the amazing staff, teachers, and friends at Little U!Update: It’s now 1 1/2 years later and the above still stands! We’ve loved every teacher he’s had and the curriculum is great! He’s randomly explained electricty and how the earth rotates to make days and nights at 4 years old! There’s no better place than Little U!

Both of my girls have been loved and cared for at Little U Academy. As a working mom, it means the world to me that they not only care for my children when I’m away, but they also teach and nurture them to become smart and kind little girls. I can’t recommend them enough!

Little U has been a lifesaver for us. We have been to 3 other daycares and had not found the same level of care for our children as we have experienced at Little U. The staff is constantly engaging in educational activities with the children, the meals are nutritious, and we are kept abreast of any “odd happenings” (ie fevers, head bumbs, etc) with our children throughout the day. To top it off, the director strives to keep Little U open and on time for parents who must work on snow days. We can always count on Little U Academy!

DO NOT PUT YOUR KIDS HERE! The owner of this establishment is very rude and disrespectful towards parents. They do not have your child's best interest in mind and they are always more concerned about money. Watch your money because they will charge you for things without you knowing it. I'm very disappointed in the way they handle things and just the level of unprofessionalism they show towards parents. The only time they are nice to you or your kid is when the state comes for an inspection.

This is NOT a preschool its a daycare which you will pay full time daycare prices for their version of "preschool"! This place is a joke. If you need fulltime daycare services your good here but do not expect any type of educational services to be provided beyond that.

Very rude. I called for information on when ideally my child could start and the lady on the phone did not have a clue and was very rude.

Awful! I needed care for an infant and was given a tour of the whole facility except the infant area and with much persistence on my part I was finally shown the room but couldn't go in. On the tour, the lady gave me BS about how there is a licensed professional in there at all times and raved about it and when I asked to meet the person that would be spending everyday with her, the lady stumbled all over her words and said well she gets a lunch and I said I would like to meet the people and there were two ladies in the room with the infants that were talking to each other and all babies were in bouncers. I was told I can make another appointment to meet the "teacher." I thought that is what I did with this appointment. I understand that babies can be in bouncers but all of them and I couldn't even speak with the people that would be taking care of my girl....just very bad feeling from it and never went back.
