“Elegant, comfortable, immaculate lodging, the Valparaiso Inn B&B is the very definition of outstanding hospitality! The public rooms are furnished with remarkable antiques and yet is a comfortable gathering place for relaxed conversation. The Stella Suite, our king room, was very spacious with comfortable seating for two, a round table (we are card players) and an enormous bathroom with a circular glass shower and a claw-footed tub. The towels were fluffy and luxurious. Breakfast was sumptuous: mango/orange juice, chocolate croissants and blueberry muffins, mango sorbet(!), roasted prociusotto, French toast with tart apples and Canadian maple syrup. Our most welcoming innkeeper, Jim, made certain that the coffee was flowing and that we were happy, well-served and welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning often!”

“Treated myself for the Thanksgiving holiday. Had a great meal and service the night before turkey day. Unfortunately, the next 2 days were like being left at boarding school for the winter break, not a soul. I even verified there would be continental breakfast. Nothing. When I left Friday morning, there wasn't even anyone to give the key to. I called one of the numbers and left a vm. Never heard a thing. It is very disappointing when you have an expectation of a certain amount of service based on what's advertised. The room was lovely, though, and very clean.”

“I previous worked at this establishment and I can tell you that Maria the manager goes above and beyond for guests and also her employees. Also, as far as the breakfast bar goes I know for a fact that everything is well maintained and everything is cleaned and sanitized after every service. All health code rules are followed and implemented. Everyone who works there goes above and beyond to make sure the guests enjoy their stay and are as comfortable as possible.”
