Cool merchandise is you can get past the weird sales person, Julie. I literally hide from and dodge her when I go there. Owner is cocky and full of herself. Would prefer to order from them online honestly

Definitely a "5 Star" review for Homenclature and employee Jackie for being diligent in finding sofa cushions for my 97 year old mother's sofa that was 20 years old! The sofa is in excellent condition, but the cushions were "weak". No more!

This place is a fun adventure. We enjoyed looking at very unique furniture and lots of eye candy. We were told it was a discount store but absolutely everything was in perfect condition. This place has an eclectic atmosphere, and we love going to just look at the unique furniture.

You never know what you may find. Typically whatever it is it is good quality at a price point that is approachable and usually a bit offbeat. For people with eclectic taste, who want pieces that are quality but have thin wallets. You may not see anything you want your first time in keep come back to look again!

Beware of this furniture store! I ordered a piece of furniture from the Carmel location and paid for 1/2 up front and the balance was due on pick up and was to be several months out. I hadn't received any updates and stopped by to inquire when it would be ready. The store had a sign up that they had permanently closed. I was concerned that I may have lost my money, but fortunately they were still operating in Valpo. To make a long story short - when I got the call that my piece was ready for pick up - they gave me 1 days notice and a 2 hour window to arrange for a delivery company to pick up. I scrambled to find someone as the piece was very heavy and quite large. I had to pay extra for the last minute nature. The morning that I was notified that I had to pick up the piece - I texted the employee to verify that the 12-2 window was still a go and they said yes. I arrived at the store at 12 and there was nobody there. I texted the employee and they said that their drivers were delayed but would be there by 12:30. I told them that I was paying by the hour and requested some sort of credit due to their miscommunication although I had reached out the morning of to confirm. Not only did they not give me any credit they simply stopped answering my calls or texts. This is simply not the type of service you would expect for a higher end furniture store. I believe they did not care because they already had my money and were pulling out of the market.

Julia was incredibly helpful today . She knows the inventory, took our dimensions and placed the furniture in our room.- showing us various positioning for our items. They even moved all the pieces and spaced them out as they would be in our room so we had a visual. No waiting for furniture- it's coming in 4 days! Thanks again for all your assistance!

Love this store! So many unique pieces. I can spend a couple hours in there looking at all the cool things from wall art to rugs etc…Bought these two pieces for my entryway & love it!

Amazing experience! We were searching for a sofa and were frustrated by the long lead times everywhere we looked. A family member recommended Homenclature. We had a sofa, ottoman, and pillows picked out and ready to go in 20 minutes. The customer service was outstanding (Julie listened to what we needed and matched everything together beautifully). Highly recommend!!

I was looking for a new kitchen table and chairs. I wanted something well built & sturdy. This piece was unusual and was perfect for the space. The staff was very helpful and pointed me in the right direction. They delivered with in days. They delivery guys were very professional. It was just such a great experience. I would highly recommend checking out their beautiful inventory.

I had an interview her today. And it was all cool when I talked with Corey he's a cool guy. But they lied to my staffing agency in highland. It was set for 10.30am. I arrived 10.28am and one off the worker's I talk too said that's great let me get Corey for you.I understand if am not fit for the job. You don't have too lie.They said I arrived at 11am.
