What a beautiful u-pick farm. Owners are kind and sweet. Scheduled days and times to cut. Majority are $1 per stem to pick. Dahlias $3 per stem. You can bring scissors and buckets with water in for picked floral stems. Or they have some buckets and scissors to borrow. Pay with cash or card. Generally 2 hour pick times. Follow on Instagram and Facebook for their schedule. Booth at Valpo Market on Tuesday and Saturday. Available for wedding floral. Support small business.

Do yourself a favor and go to a u-pick. You can even bring a picnic and enjoy the evening. My kids gifted me a night of flower picking at Hickory Hills and I’ve gone back every week. The flowers are beautiful and last!! $1 a stem….I’d pay way more for HH Flowers. They are a family owned farm and very helpful and kind. I’m amazed and delighted every time I purchase their flowers. Just go but if you can’t find them at the many places they sell their flowers.

The most beautiful flowers from amazing people. We’ve loved everything from the u-pick flowers, to the beautiful market bouquets, to the holiday wreaths they’ve designed for us. Highly recommend!

Emma did my wedding flowers almost 2 years ago and it’s still the most talked about part of my wedding! You’re not supposed to upstage the bride but her flowers really might have, they were absolutely stunning. Every time I look at my wedding photos her flowers wow. Not to mention she is an amazing person and the easiest to work with. Could not recommend her and her team enough for your event

Emma was amazing to work with! Even with moving the wedding up Emma was loving and supportive and still had all the flowers I wanted there on time. She set up beautiful arrangements. It was nice on the wedding day knowing I didn’t have to worry about the way my florals looked. Absolutely stunning arrangements for me, the bridesmaids, along with aisle, and table decor!

Loving my dry flower, winter wreath that Emma created from a very limited explanation of my vision! Her creativity is unparalleled.

Emma was so easy to work with and really made our vision come alive. She incorporated some dried flowers into lantern wreaths and a hair comb in addition to the fresh features. We went to Brown County and the flowers transported fine. We took a bucket of fresh cut stems from the farm and used them in our centerpieces too. Great mix of greens and fall color. HHFF's sustainable practices were very important to our bride and groom and everything turned out magnificently!

Emma and the rest of the team at Hickory Hills Flower Farm are the absolute sweetest and most amazing people. They provided Valpo University's Environmental Club with a personal tour of the field and walked us through their sustainable practices and drying processes. It was absolutely amazing! Would love to visit again next season!

The number one spot in Valpo to buy sustainable, local-grown flowers. Most other flowers sold in Valpo are purchased from far away farms, but these are grown right in town. The owner is also incredibly eco-conscious so you can rest easy knowing your doing your best for the environment.

Going to the flower farm is a beautiful, relaxing experience. The flower bouquets are so thoughtfully and gorgeously arranged! I’m looking forward to my next visit.
