“I shop here about once per month, mostly for staples like cooking oils, specialty rices, Beyond ersatz meat, gluten-free pasta. They have a great selection of unusual rices and pastas. Purple rice, rice blends, chick pea and lentil pastas, that kind of thing. I occasionally get flours and starches such as almond flour, arrowroot, ground flax seeds. Also spices, and some refrigerated items and produce. They also have a large section with vitamins, dietary supplements, special toothpastes and suchlike. And a pretty decent selection of frozen items you can't find in most supermarkets. The selection of goodies and snack foods is dangerous. A lot of nut and berry mixtures, a variety of interesting chips, even unusual chocolates. Pay attention to the specials and markdowns. I tend to get a few goodies from the markdown tables every visit. The prices here are sometimes high, but not always. There are items on my regular shopping list which I *could* get at the supermarket but the prices here are competitive. And I like to support my local health food store. The staff, in my experience, exude good vibes. A friendly, happy place.”
